Darby'S

Portion is small but generally the food is good. Pork chop is the way too fat and salty. The chicken and beef pie is really good thou. Fish dishes also good. Not sure the snacks worth to order as they are nothing special taste.. i would recommend fat chips sides plus a main is good enough.

Absolutely stunning Sunday roast! My friends told me this was the best Sunday toast in London (I was doubtful) and now I understand why they said it and 100% agree. The potatoes are crispy and delicious, the lamb shank was so tender and flavorful, and that mint sauce… Wow… the Yorkshire pudding so crispy and the gravy so flavoursome. Definitely the best Sunday roast I've had in London. The bread comes out of the oven nice and warm and it was so good we just had to buy a loaf and take it home. The only complaint I have is that part of the appeal is the jazz, but the music was only for one hour, from 2 to 3 PM so if you booked an early table, you wouldn't actually get to listen to it. The musicians were sat down having their meal having played for only 1 hour. Seriously? Like if you're there to play then play for longer than 1 hout. The waiter explained that really depends on the musician and the band that's playing so maybe if you go when there's another band playing you'll get lucky and have a longer set. Our server Duncan was amazing and the wine recommendations by the other staff was also really good. I read some of the reviews complain about the portion size for the Holy Trinity, but it's not a problem if you order the lamb shank for two people. Oh, and that beef and bone marrow pie? So flavorsome so much bone marrow cannot fault it at all. Wish I had more pictures to share but was too busy eating!

Darby’s is a fantastic spot for a Sunday roast, definitely worth the hype. We went for the “Holy Trinity” and the food was excellent. The lamb was the standout for me. It was super tender and full of flavour and the beef was cooked perfectly, juicy and well-seasoned. The roast potatoes were incredible (crispy outside, fluffy inside), and the Yorkshire puddings were huge and delicious. Only small downside was the veggie portion could’ve been a bit more generous. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with a great mix of people, from solo diners to big groups and families. There’s an open kitchen and bakery which adds a really nice touch, and the live piano + vocals gave it a cool jazzy vibe. Service was friendly and attentive even though it was really busy. We were slightly early and had a short wait, but were offered drinks at the bar and seated quickly after. Drinks were solid, cocktails were great, though the Guinness Old Fashioned didn’t quite hit for me. The Guinness dessert was a nice finish. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but you’re paying for quality. Would absolutely recommend for a proper Sunday roast experience 👍

Incredible Sunday Roast! Darby’s has such a cool old school New York vibe. The rump roast was delicious, but that potato terrine was a total game changer—absolutely insane! Pair it with their massive, fluffy Yorkie and a rich gravy, and you’re in heaven. The Negroni is top-tier and the hazelnut éclai was amazingly light and airy. Service was spot on. Highly recommend!

Amazing crackling pork belly for a Sunday roast. The crispy cubed potato is also really good. I was extremely surprised as to how nice and sweet they managed to make a roast carrot. Gravy a bit lacking in taste though. Service was nice, live music as well (Sundays only afaik), but they do charge your £1 for tap filtered or added gas sparkling water.
