We celebrated our 9th anniversary here and had an enjoyable evening overall. Theas breathtaking.
We started with a Cosmopolitan for me and a Blue Moon for my husband. The staff was one of the highlights of the night. Everyone was professional, personable, and genuinely fun to talk with. Juan especially made us laugh when we were talking about ceviche. When I described how it’s traditionally served in Mexico and throughout coastal Latin America, he smiled and said, “Yes, that’s exactly how we make it at my house!” That was a great moment.
The appetizers, unfortunately, were disappointing.
The Caesar salad missed the mark. The dressing barely coated the lettuce—it wasn’t creamy or vinaigrette-like, just dry. The “croutons” were simply thin crust strips from white bread, not actual seasoned, toasted croutons that add flavor and texture.
The ceviche was the biggest disappointment. I was expecting a fresh, vibrant seafood ceviche with shrimp, fish, pico de gallo, tomato-based sauce, fresh lime, and tostadas—the style you’ll find throughout Mexico and many coastal regions of Latin America. Instead, what arrived looked nothing like a traditional ceviche and was very underwhelming. It was a spoon full of "ceviche" on a chip. Presentation was beautiful if it had been something else.
The market fish was trout served over an oyster sauce. While the sauce itself was flavorful, the fish was unfortunately dry and the presentation was awful. I had originally asked for a lemon butter sauce, while my husband chose the oyster sauce. The sauce was enjoyable, but it couldn’t make up for the dryness of the fish. I finally combined both the oyster sauce and lemon butter sauce, and it made the rest of my meal edible.
Dessert was the star of the meal. It was beautifully crafted to look like a giant raspberry, with a rich chocolate ganache center, silky milk chocolate mousse, and raspberry coulis surrounding it. It was absolutely beautiful and delicious.
We finished the evening with a champagne toast—to another 10 years together, even though we were technically celebrating our ninth anniversary!
Overall, I’d rate the experience 3.5 out of 5 stars. The staff created a warm, memorable atmosphere, but the food was inconsistent. With improvements to the Caesar salad, the ceviche, and the presentation of the fish, this could become a truly outstanding dining experience.
Dinner at Club Crescent Court was disappointing. The concierge in the lobby scoffed when he had to assist with their overly complicated elevator system. Started with the Salmon Tartare, quality of a Kroger Sushi. The melon salad arrived, missing key components, including the cheese and prosciutto. My lamb was so fatty that I could not cut it, even with a steak knife, and our server did not follow up to ask how our meal was or whether everything had been prepared properly, over the 2 hours we dined at The Club. The view is the only nice thing.

As an interfaith wedding rabbi and officiant, I have had the privilege of celebrating weddings at many exceptional venues throughout Dallas, and The Crescent Club offers one of the most distinctive and memorable settings in the city.
Perched on the 17th floor of the iconic Crescent complex in Uptown Dallas, The Crescent Club combines panoramic skyline views, timeless elegance, and the exclusivity of a private club. From the moment guests arrive, there is a sense that they are attending something special. The sweeping views of the Dallas skyline create an unforgettable backdrop that changes throughout the evening as the city lights begin to sparkle below.
What I especially appreciate is the club's classic sophistication. Unlike many contemporary venues that follow fleeting trends, The Crescent Club embraces a more timeless approach. Rich wood finishes, elegant private dining salons, and refined interiors create an atmosphere that feels both luxurious and welcoming. The setting is formal enough for a black-tie celebration while remaining warm and intimate for family and friends.
From a ceremony standpoint, the views are extraordinary. There is something particularly meaningful about gathering loved ones high above the city to witness the beginning of a new chapter. Whether hosting an intimate ceremony, rehearsal dinner, reception, or wedding weekend event, the skyline becomes a living backdrop that is uniquely Dallas.
I also appreciate the connection to the larger Crescent Court experience. Couples and guests benefit from the hospitality, accommodations, dining, and amenities associated with one of Dallas's most celebrated luxury destinations. That combination of exceptional service and remarkable surroundings allows couples to focus on the celebration itself rather than the logistics behind it.
For couples seeking a venue that combines breathtaking city views, private-club elegance, exceptional hospitality, and an unmistakably Dallas atmosphere, I am delighted to recommend The Crescent Club. It is one of those rare venues where the setting feels both intimate and grand at the very same time.
