Corral de la Morería was one of the highlights of my trip to Madrid. The flamenco performance was absolutely mesmerizing—every dancer, singer, and guitarist performed with incredible passion and precision. You can truly feel the emotion and history behind every piece.
The venue itself is intimate, allowing every seat to feel close to the stage, which makes the experience even more immersive. The staff were attentive and welcoming throughout the evening, and the overall atmosphere was elegant yet authentic.
If you’re visiting Madrid and want to experience world-class flamenco in a legendary setting, Corral de la Morería is a must. It was an unforgettable night that I would happily recommend to anyone.
Great performances! I had the 4-courses (about €65) with seabrass and lamb racks (2 small ribs) for the two main dishes. They seem to cook on the medium rare side, which retains meat moisture and nice texture. Let the servers know in advance if you like your dishes more cooked. There seems to have some objections on how expensive the meal is even you have to pay a separate €40 on top for the Flamingo shows. However the meal does lean toward a Michelin One-Star rating. I feel the meal and show are worth it, and supporting the preservation of cultural arts and heritage. Lage selections of wines, and a few good ones pay by a glass!

Exceptional show, incredible food, great staff. This one delivered on all fronts.
There’s about an hour before the show actually starts which gives you more than enough time to finish your food and get halfway through dessert before the performance begins.
The food was impressive and took no shortcuts. Each course made a point of showing off the craft behind it, and you could taste the effort in every bite. The courses come out almost immediately after you finish the last.
The show itself was exceptional in the truest sense. It brought out such raw emotion that I almost cried, and I’m not someone who says that easily. The best flamenco dancing I’ve ever seen.

Come for the Flamenco.
Bring Your Wallet. Maybe a Second Mortgage.
If you are going to Corral de la Morería, let me save you some time: come for the flamenco, not the food.
The performance was absolutely top notch. The dancers, musicians and singers were incredibly talented, passionate and completely captivating. From the moment the show started, the room came alive. You could feel the energy, emotion and skill in every performance.
Honestly, these performers deserve every bit of praise. They were outstanding.
Now, everything else…
Well, that’s where the flamenco ends and the financial drama begins.
The wine list was so extensive that it wasn’t really a wine list. It was a book. At one point, I wasn’t sure whether I was choosing a bottle of wine or enrolling in a sommelier degree. If you want a non alcoholic drink save the trouble…there are just 3 simple options.
And then there are the prices.
Atrociously high.
The portions, meanwhile, appear to have been designed by someone who believes food should be experienced spiritually rather than physically. You take one bite and suddenly the plate looks like it has been cleaned by a professional crime scene investigator.
One bite.
Gone.
You start wondering if you actually ate it or simply had a very convincing memory of eating it.
The drink situation wasn’t exactly going to win any awards either. Let’s just say the performers were serving world-class entertainment while the drinks were performing more like unpaid understudies.
But honestly, none of that is why you should come here.
The flamenco is the reason.
And it is spectacular.
The talent on that stage is extraordinary. The dancers are mesmerizing, the musicians are brilliant, and the entire performance has a level of passion and intensity that makes you forget about the tiny portions, questionable drinks and the fact that your bank account is quietly calling for help.
So yes, you will pay a lot.
Yes, the portions are tiny.
Yes, the wine menu is practically a textbook.
Yes, you may leave wondering where all your money went.
But then you remember the performance.
And you realize that is what you actually came for.
★★★★★ for the performers.
★★☆☆☆ for the food and drinks.
★★★★★ for the flamenco.
If you’re visiting Madrid and want to experience authentic, unforgettable flamenco, go. Absolutely go.
Just eat beforehand.
And maybe don’t look too closely at the wine book.
