Casaléna is such a beautiful restaurant with an incredible atmosphere. The space is warm, elegant, and beautifully designed, making it perfect for a date night, celebration, or a relaxing dinner with friends.
Everything we ordered was delicious. The branzino was perfectly cooked light, flaky, and full of flavor. The beet salad was fresh and beautifully presented, and the margarita pizza had a perfectly crisp crust with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Their drinks were just as impressive, crafted beautifully and the perfect complement to the meal.
From the gorgeous aesthetic to the outstanding food and drinks, every detail made for a wonderful dining experience. The service was attentive, and the ambiance made us want to stay and enjoy the evening a little longer. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. Highly recommend!
Usually my wife asks me where I want to go for my birthday dinner. And that means we will dine at a familiar place. This year she didn’t ask and I couldn’t be happier. She set the gps and just said drive. And as we pulled up to our destination I saw the restaurant on the right and, I immediately knew that we were in for a great experience. We chose the patio dining experience. And I am glad we did. It was everything that we could have hoped for. We ordered the Wagyu meatballs for an appetizer and they did not disappoint. The flavor packed in these meatballs was exceptional. My wife ordered the lemon ravioli special and I had the New York strip medium rare. Our food was cooked to perfection. And it left us both completely satisfied. I now have a new favorite valley restaurant thanks to my wonderful wife.
We had the pleasure of dining at Casaléna, and it was truly a 100/10 experience. I love a great fine dining experience. It’s not just about the food; it’s about the attention to detail, the atmosphere, the service, and the feeling of genuine care throughout the dining experience.
The food was exceptional, the ambiance was beautiful, and the service was outstanding. A special thank you to Erica, who went above and beyond to ensure my food allergies were carefully accommodated. She made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable, and her attention to detail went unnoticed.
Exceptional hospitality is rare, and when paired with amazing food, it creates an experience worth remembering.
This was our second time dining at Casaléna in Woodland Hills, and once again, it was a fantastic experience.
My friend was able to snag us a same-night Friday reservation, which was impressive considering how busy they were. We started with drinks — I had the watermelon margarita (so refreshing and perfectly balanced!), and although I can’t remember what my friend ordered, the cocktails were excellent all around.
For appetizers, we shared the tuna tartare and hamachi crudo — both were incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious.
For entrées, I had the vodka pasta and my friend ordered the seafood spaghetti. Both dishes were amazing — flavorful, perfectly cooked, and generous portions. Everything came out in a timely manner, and we didn’t feel rushed despite it being a packed night with large parties upstairs and outdoors.
We sat outside, but the heaters kept it warm and comfortable, making the ambiance even better. The service was attentive and friendly, even with how busy it was.
They offer valet parking, which makes it super convenient, and I believe they also host private events.
We’ll definitely be back — consistently great food, beautiful atmosphere, and wonderful service every time.
My wife and I had Saturday night plans to attend a concert in Northridge. We decided to have dinner in the area before the concert.
After searching the web for a good restaurant, I landed on Casaléna. It was a pleasant discovery! The place is beautiful and gives you clean, classy and elevated casual vibes, though a lot of folks, including us, were dressed up. It's listed as Mediterranean, but I get American and Italian farm to table all rolled up in one.
Being first timers, we asked our server (Charlie) to give us the run down on the menu and recommendations. With his help, we made our choices.
For cocktails we went with the Maple Old Fashioned and a Golden Sour. For starters, we shared the Charred Octopus and the Grilled Cesar Salad. For the entrée, my wife had the Butterflied Whole Branzino, paired with a glass of Terras Gauda, Albariño. I ordered the Short Rib paired with a glass of The Walking Fool Red Blend by Caymus. and we ordered a side of Broccolini,
Literally, EVERYTHING was excellent! One of the favorites was the Charred Octopus. It was cooked to perfection. The service was great, the food came out quick and hot.
I recommend you give this place a try.
