They've had a refurbishment since the last time I'd been there and its feels darker inside. Service was good as always but the menu has changed also and the food and drinks choices weren't as good as I remember. What happened to that Brisket Sandwich with the crispy onions and the Old Doninion Black Cherry Soda :(

We ordered the sharing platter, which was easily the highlight of the meal. It arrived piled high with a generous selection of meats: ribs, pulled pork, chicken and sausage, all packed with smoky flavour and cooked really well. Everything was juicy, tender and clearly made for sharing, which made it a fun, social way to eat. What really stood out was the service. We had the chance to meet the manager, who was genuinely friendly, welcoming, which made the whole experience feel even more personal and enjoyable.

Wonderful people and genuinely helpful staff. We had a booking for a group of ten, and they handled the size of our party with ease. The platters were generous, flavorful, and really delicious. We were celebrating a special occasion, and they were kind enough to let us bring in our own cake, which made the moment even sweeter.

I've been frequenting the Poland Street Bodean's for over 10 years at this point (an ex-girlfriend introduced me to the place, I guess I got the kids in the divorce) and it is my "go-to-place" whenever I'm in London and where I take folks who might be from out of town to impress them. I made the mistake recently of trying some other place, it went bad, and coming back to Bodean's renewed my faith. The food was so flavourful on this last visit, the staff were happy to help (I asked for a drink they used to do, and instead of saying "no, we don't do that anymore" they went out of their way to whip up something similar) Do yourself a favour. Go to Bodean's.

A great bbq place with very friendly staff. The food came quickly and tasted great. The sharing platter was more than enough food for two. We nearly had to have a little nap after we finished! We will definitely be coming back!
