I want this place to be better but the food just doesn't hit. The chicken I bought was tough and the rice just didn't work. I think they are giving it their best but I'd suggest getting a new cook. There's tons of competition in that area so if they dont make a positive move, the end could be near.

I usually go there for the soup..i have no real issues with the food...most of the servers are very nice ..but one bad apple spoiled the whole bunch...first his attitude was as if I was bothering him..i asked what kind of soup they had .there were 3 different suops..I had headphones one so I removed them because he was talking so low I couldn't hear ..so I wanted to know what kind of soup because my plan was to buy 3 different soups for my mom...iasked for 3 large soup one of each...he was so in his feelings he asked me again what size ..so I said LARGE..because seems like he didn't hear me the first time ..I put my headphones back on ...he was talkingto himselfi heard the femalecustomerahead of me saying"be nicc"so i turnedcto him and said i don't have to spend my money here..and i walked out ..i liveby a rule that i dont eat from any restaurantt where servers are rude or disrespectful...you never kno what they can do to your food ..so i left and never went back.

Needed something filling but fast and the red bean soup was just the thing. The flavor was excellent with a thick texture and soft carrots, chunks of Irish (potatoes), calabaza and dumplings. Genuinely Jamaican in the most Caribbean part of Brooklyn! Love to keep going back.

I’ve tried a lot of Jamaican spots in the neighborhood and when it comes to patties, nowhere even comes close. I’m talking flavor, enough filling, flakiness, they got it all down. This is also my go to place for jerk chicken, but act fast because it sells out quickly.
