🌯 Shawarma Mifgash Rambam | CANNFIELD® Munchies Review
Some places don’t try to be trendy – they simply do what they do exceptionally well.
Shawarma Mifgash Rambam is exactly that kind of place. They understand that it all starts with high-quality meat, continues with precise seasoning, and ends with a pita that holds the entire experience together without falling apart.
The meat is juicy, rich in flavor, and cooked to perfection. The salads are fresh, the fries are hot and crispy, and the service is fast, friendly, and professional even when the place is busy.
This isn’t just a quick meal – it’s shawarma that respects both its ingredients and its customers.

Writing a bad review is never a nice feeling but this was pretty extreme… we were excited for Georgian night, dragged my friend here on her last night in tel Aviv. We waited 1hr to be seated. We were never seated. We were pushed to leave bc of disgusting management choices.
So many people who just arrived were seated before us bc of “enter good business excuse here” (larger group, connections, whatever). After 1hr I confronted the hostess and begged to be considered! She told us we were not being patient or kind. What more devotion would you like from a customer tell me? How much longer should we wait? We felt like shit. We were so damn patient and committed to waiting but their priority system absolutely shat on us. After we finally spoke up we were treated with such little care and no attempt to resolve it or consider us having waited 1hr, 8.30-9.30pm, standing, in front of the hostess.
This is all business - a priority system that’s unreasonable and unfair and just shits on customers for $$. The hostess was doing a job of 4 staff members and she was stressed and unkind. It was all just so disappointing. The excitement for Georgian night disappeared and others who witnessed this also left and we realised it’s not worth the fight. So we left too. This could’ve been a 5-star review had the hostess or management been smart in figuring this out.
The best Shawarma in town and the stuff that dreams are made of! 😋 the Veal-Lamb Shawarma is as juicy and as tasty as it gets, and definitely worth waiting in line for. It's a small place and they take the time to assemble each Pita so you'll get a perfect bite each time.
---> The things you must know:
* It gets busy! Especially on Fridays, so come early (they start serving at 11AM) or youll need to wait 20-30 minutes in line
* They serve Pork Shawama on Thursday nights, it's good too, but if you're a first timer try the Beef-Lamb one. If you do take the Prok, ask for Tahini instead of Yogurt
* They serve all sorts of meat Skewers in the evening that are grilled over charcoal. It's not what you would normally come in for, but a great alternative for people who don't like lamb
* It is going to take some time from when you order and pay? Until it's your turn to get the Pita, so make sure that you grab a drink. They have some fun and tasty wine or Arak based drinks
By far the best shawarma I’ve ever had!
Before the main dish, you’ll get a few “starter plates”. Don’t rush! Enjoy them. Really. Especially the chickpea kind of salad was outstanding. Amazing. No words. After my little starter the pita with shawarma came, and what can I say. Absolutely sensational. Tasty meat, nice spice, amazing bread. A really really great experience.
On top staff is friendly and prices are, with 52 for a pita including the starter plates, really fair!
Summing up: sensational experience!!!
Went on a local colleague’s recommendation. This shawarma is the single best thing I ate during my week+ trip to Israel.
It was so good that I had it for lunch and went back again for dinner on the SAME day.
A perfectly balanced pita, layered with juicy, smoky, lamb and veal shawarma, salad and sauces, made with care and loaded to the point of almost collapsing under its stuffing.
Can’t recommend it enough.
