If you want to experience the absolute best of Tel Aviv's laid-back, local food scene, you have to go to Bicicletta. We came here on a warm evening, and it ended up being one of our absolute favorite spots in the city.
The highlight of this place is definitely the outdoor garden courtyard in the back. It’s tucked away from the busy street and has this incredibly cozy, rustic, and vibrant atmosphere with green plants and fairy lights everywhere. It feels like you’re hanging out at a cool friend's backyard party rather than a restaurant.
The food was fantastic and perfect for sharing. They do these small-to-medium plates that are packed with fresh, local flavors. We ordered their famous eggplant chips (you absolutely must get these, they are legendary), the fresh ceviche, and a couple of their creative vegetarian dishes. Everything was super fresh, delicious, and paired perfectly with their excellent cocktails and cold local beers.
The crowd is a great mix of locals and travelers, and the music sets a perfect, upbeat but relaxed tone. The staff were also super friendly, cool, and kept the drinks flowing even though the place was packed.
It’s just a great, unpretentious spot with amazing energy and delicious food. We loved it and will definitely be coming back next time we are in Tel Aviv!
Perfect evening and perfect super.

Bad service | Missing dishes |Unpleasant
שירות גרוע | מנה חסרה | ללא נימוסים
We ordered 3 dishes, 2 main course and one start. One main course was missed and arrived after other tables who ordered after us already got there order.
We let the waiter know that we are missing a dish asked him to check, he nodded in response and then resume doing other stuff like filling ketchup and giving bills to tables. He never got back to check about the order.
After a while the missing dish arrived with a mistake, at that time we finished to eat and decided canceled the order of that dish.
Even though the service was bad, one of the worst we had in Tel Aviv, Israel or all over the world we decided to give 10% Tip. The waiter response was blank face, no gratitude or asking sorry for the mistake.
Think twice to arrive here.

Sharing plates food, good atmosphere and lots of seats. Mostly outside. Vegan and gluten free clearly noted on the menu

Absolutely adored the backyard-style ambiance and the general sense of communal delight – truly capturing the essence of Tel Aviv's spirit. As much as I relished the atmosphere, I can't help but think the food could use a boost. It's alright, but there's definitely room for improvement. Despite this, I'm undoubtedly coming back for the inviting environment; there's something magnetic about it. However, I'm a tad uncertain about a return trip solely for the food – that might require a bit more convincing. The ceviche and the fish on the grill however were really good!
