Carmel – Woodfire Seafood & Oyster Bar is a wonderful place for a weekend dinner.
The restaurant offers a great selection of fresh seafood. The Shrimp Scampi was incredibly fresh and sweet, with a rich, flavorful sauce. The Oysters Rockefeller were delicious, topped with melted cheese that perfectly complemented their natural sweetness. The Avocado Crab Salad, made with freshly steamed hand-picked crab meat, was excellent. The fish was also fresh, tender, and naturally sweet. Every dish was beautifully presented.
The restaurant features a spacious dining area with plenty of private corners, making it an ideal spot for dinner with close friends. The soft lighting and elegant décor create a warm, relaxing atmosphere.
The friendly and attentive staff made the experience even more enjoyable. We had a truly wonderful dinner and would happily come back again.
From the moment we walked in, Carmel delivered an exceptional experience. Our waiter Brian was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming — every recommendation he made was spot on. It's rare to find that level of attentiveness and genuine care in a dining experience.
The General Manager, Coby, was also outstanding. He made sure everything was perfect and went above and beyond to make the night special.
We were celebrating my wife's birthday and they absolutely made it a night to remember. The food was phenomenal — the caviar fries, chicken, and strawberry shortcake were all amazing. Each dish was better than the last.
And the value? I was blown away. Two drinks and a full meal for $120 — I honestly expected to pay much more for an experience of this caliber. Carmel gives you fine dining quality without the fine dining sticker shock.
After this visit, Carmel has easily earned a spot in my top three restaurants. We will definitely be back. If you're looking for a place that combines great food, exceptional service, and unbeatable value, look no further. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed everything about this amazing restaurant. The food was delicious, the menu so full of choices it was hard to decide. Everything we tried was over the top with flavor and the service was incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful. Everyone from hostess to wait staff and bartenders were friendly and welcoming. Made us feel right at home. Atmosphere is very laid back, relaxed, and welcoming and love the open windows which let the cool breeze come in and connect the inside to outside. Located in a really nice spot in Buckhead Village. Highly recommend the Flounder, Redfish, and baked oysters!

The best experience ever! I came here to celebrate my birthday and WOW. From the moment I walked in I was greeted and on my table was a beautiful birthday card! The energy the entire night was amazing! My server was absolutely amazing, super attentive, kind, and really made me feel celebrated. The food was delicious and plated so nicely. The bar staff was amazing too! I was surprised with a birthday dessert and that personal touch along with the card honestly meant so much to me and made my whole night. The lychee martini was bomb too!! I already know i'll be back and probably a regular! lol

We went on a date last Saturday and had a great time here. The food is outstanding, we ordered the roasted oysters and they were delicious, I had the redfish and my husband ordered the flounder and they were both outstanding. Our server, Anna, was fantastic, helpful and friendly and made us feel at home. We had a great date night and would love to come back next time we're in the city.
