Popped in after our yoga session. Alchemy has a relaxed ambience and beautiful coastal vibes. We tried all the drinks - the PJ&J smoothie, a decaf double espresso (delish, and served with a little cocoa cookie) and a matcha latte.
For food I had the breakfast burrito. Big serving of Mexican-inspired ingredients and it went down a treat with a light sour cream. The potato wedges were seasoned well and came with a chipotle mayo dipping sauce. My wife got the Alchemist salad, packed with goodness, plus a side of falafels she crowned the best she’s ever had.
We went back the next day and it was just as good. More green smoothies, and I got the acai bowl with guarana - great acai, great portion, and the granola and fruit were spot on.
Our server Java was such a warm welcome. Smile on the dial and very attentive.
Highly recommend.
Alchemy Uluwatu is honestly the definition of Bali chill. If you’re looking to get grounded and escape the chaos, this is the spot.
The food selection is next level, especially if you’re into the vegan or gluten-free scene. The DIY salad and smoothie bowl bar is a massive win — everything feels insanely fresh and high-quality. I tried the bowl with fruit and some of their sweet treats, and they were straight-up on point. They also have an incredible range of juices and smoothies that actually taste like real fruit, not just sugar.
The venue itself is stunning and has a very specific "aesthetic" that works. It’s not just a restaurant; there’s a lifestyle section where you can pick up sunglasses and perfumes, which is a cool touch.
The standout for me, though, is the garden area with the fire pit. It creates such a relaxed, earthy vibe that makes you want to hang out for hours. Highly recommend if you want a meal that makes you feel good in a space that looks even better. 🥗🍕🔥
Would definitely come back.
Really spacious restaurant with plenty of room inside and even parking for scooters out front, which is a nice plus.
Honestly, we didn’t realize it was a vegan place when we walked in - it’s not how we usually eat - but we decided to stay and give it a try. The food was decent overall, though the coffee was a bit too sour and bitter for my liking. I’d say it’s probably a great hidden gem for vegans, but personally I’d rather stick with regular eggs over the vegan version.
Solid spot if plant-based is your thing, just not quite my style.
Very nice place, very good food, fresh ingredients. I put up my own salad and everything was delicious. I loved listening to Brazilian music there, besides having had an excellent service. Desi was our waitress, always very helpful and friendly. I would come back every time I'm in Uluwatu.
Good place for vegan food with plenty of good options to choose from. The ambience was chilled out with a really nice crowd. Service was good too — thanks to Susi for being so warm and helpful. The pizza was a little tangy for my taste, but overall we had a lovely experience. This is close to the Bingin beach.
