Lovely atmosphere but mid in every other way. Visited while in the area, and tried an iced Mexican Mocha. It was delicious and spicy, the chili powder really adding a lovely warmth as I drank it, and the option of adding soy milk or another non-dairy variety was much appreciated. My partner ordered a dirty chai, but there was an ice berg floating in it. I understand that orders need to be brought out promptly, but I found the aesthetic of her drink clearly lacking. I was hoping for a little artfulness or care in the making of the drinks, and in terms of flavor, they were good, but I’ve had better dirty chais, more spice and more craft involved in their presentation. The staff member who took my order was engaged and helped me dial in my order, but beyond that, the customer service was a bit lacking. I was hoping to sit at counter facing the street to do a little people watching while I was enjoying my coffee, but the counter had crumbs and some spillage from previous customers’ drinks. It was not only there but also several other tables were left unattended to, dirtying up the lovely artistic concept the dine-in area was trying to create. The space had a variety of people sipping, chatting, and using their laptops, as well as there being some outside seating, so I would give the cafe one more try if I’m in the area, but the first impression here left me a bit flat with the lack of attention to the customers’ space.

My family and I have been coming to the Oakland Zoo at least twice a year for the past five years, but this is the first time we’ve eaten here. Honestly, everything was delicious; I ordered a Mexican Mocha and the Lux Breakfast, and it was all wonderful. The service was excellent, too.

Loved the vibes of this place! The tomato soup was delicious and cozy. My bf got the Borgia coffee (hot) and I got an iced creme brulee lattee. Both coffees were okay. We like strong, bold coffee so we had to order extra shots of espresso after we tried them. If you like smooth coffee, they would be great for you. Overall a great coffee shop ❤️

One of the best spots in San Leandro! I think I’ve eaten almost everything on their menu and it is all so good! My go-to is their avocado toast on sourdough. Delicious! Their Pro tip: buy some beans and you get a free cup of drip coffee!

Food is great but moreover, the little kids play area is awesome! We went to the Chabot space and science center and came here on the way home, worth the stop.
