I had a really great experience at WatchHouse Canary Wharf. The atmosphere is modern, calm, and perfect whether you want to work for a few hours, have a relaxed coffee break, or meet up with friends. The interior design feels stylish without being too overwhelming, and the whole place has a very comfortable vibe.
The coffee was excellent — rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. I also tried some pastries and they were fresh and delicious. What stood out the most was the service; the staff were friendly, welcoming, and patient even during busy hours.
The location in Canary Wharf is also very convenient, especially if you want a quieter café compared to some of the more crowded spots nearby. Overall, it’s one of the nicest coffee places in the area and I would definitely come back again. Highly recommended for coffee lovers and anyone looking for a cozy but high-quality café experience.
Did not know they opened a branch in CW! Loved the vibe of this store, it’s not tooo busy when I went on the weekend I’m glad. The coffee itself was super smooth and I’m glad to taste a different flavour profile compared to all the usual around here. Loved the design and colours of the store too but could benefit from with a bit of window coverage when sitting in for the ladies wearing shorts/skirts

The team at the branch landed me a solid experience to which i needed a long black and also some sencha tea.
Now, i have heard that the waiting times was bad, though clearly they are speaking from the standpoint of a person who doesn't appreciate bespoke, well-crafted coffee. it does not make sense as to why they complain about waiting times, when they order coffee when there is TWENTY people infront of the person that just ordered. You have to wait in line, some people hate waiitng, and i don't like those people. Those people need manners, and therapy, and maybe a buy a little spice to make it interesting at home. I dunno, but taking it out on the exceptional baristas that consistently deliver good coffee is unacceptable.
To complain that the coffee takes over five minutes is abysmal and that is not a long time to wait, there has been many cafes that have taken 20 minutes to deliver a coffee. In addition, watchhouse is always busy, which tells you in of itself the customer retention and their success in consistency in delivering quality drinks and services.
I came into the branch one time very tried, and the team was very friendly. They suggested good food choices for a pick me up. This was nice and warm of them. Honestly they made a very good warm impression on me. Refreshing.
I was starving and I needed food. I wasn’t going to get food from my flatmate, I didn’t want to risk it considering my near-ending experience with uncooked chicken. The Canary Wharf branch of WatchHouse I knew had a great selection of food and I was down for the wraps from them. Plus, I needed positive people around me, not people that are indecent, rude and talk to you like you are a used rubber on the floor on boxpark in Shorditch high street. The WatchHouse team always want me to have a great experience and I feel that every time. It’s just pleasant.
I needed sencha this week and ill tell you something, it was definitely needed. I say this as I was disappointed with the recent musical i was forced to go to by a friend of mine. It was bad. They sang a song about bread, whilst gossiping about a swinging party whilst promoting weird stuff like the wuthering heights film. Margot Robbie disappointed me with that film, and she wrote parts of the screenplay, well, less we talk about it the better. It's not as bad as the sex in the city film, that film was beyond terrible. Disappointing isn't the word. If i had a choice between that film and a dinner date with satan, well, hell might not be such a bad option for a friday night meal. Transformers is making a return with Michael bay, that is something to cheer about, as well as the sencha from the WH canary wharf branch.
I work in very high-volatile environments (prison pharmacy) and the WatchHouse team helped me settle in to my seat and enabled me to get comfortable before ordering. This is not just the one time, this is everytime. The wrap I selected was so well toasted, good sweet baby thanos! And the coffee, very well done. Coffee is a non-negotiable for me, and a bland cup of coffee is unacceptable, you might as well throw me into a casket and call it the day.
What impressed me the most was how they handled tough, stressful customers. I have been going to WatchHouse Canary Wharf branch for some time now and they always handle difficult customers well, much better than other coffee shops. Their professionalism is top notch, much better than I would have. Any disrespectful customer(s) that complain about the coffee or the seating arrangements (yes I have seen them complaining, so unnecessary), I would have told them to go and drink fish tank water. The professionalism the team deliver when handling complaints is so well done. It should be documented and studied for rival coffee shops to follow suit.
All in all, a solid team, a well put together branch and a place I recommend many of my friends and work colleagues to visit for solid coffee and food, including many neurodivergent individuals that love good food, good coffee and warm staff members whom go the extra mile for each customer.

Best coffee in the area and the team were super welcoming. I don’t know much about coffee but they were all super knowledgable about the different coffees you can order. Will be back soon ❤️

Great coffee and pastries, one of the best in Canary Wharf. Emily and the team are super friendly and welcoming, which makes our experience even better. The coffee is consistently great and it’s a spot I’m always happy to come back to. Definitely recommend if you’re nearby!
