Villa Oltremare Resort, Spa E Ristorante

I stayed at the Oltremare Resort thanks to a friend who gifted me a wellness program at their Aphrodite center for my birthday. The experience was absolutely fantastic; the facility is immaculately clean and well-organized, and the various services—whirlpool, sauna, infrared sauna, Turkish bath, sensory shower, and counter-current pool—far exceeded my expectations. I found myself in a place where you can forget about the stress and daily grind, allowing yourself to be enveloped in a sense of absolute relaxation. The staff pampers and takes care of you with great professionalism and dedication! I will definitely be back and highly recommend it to everyone!

We had an amazing stay. The staff were incredibly kind. They made everything we needed. We had a spectacular couples massage, dinner, and breakfast 😂😅. I definitely recommend it.

I stayed at Villa Oltremare Resort with another couple of friends, and unfortunately the overall experience was very disappointing (I was also responsible for the booking). From the moment you enter, the property doesn't even begin to feel like a spa or a resort: it looks neglected, almost abandoned. The room had a completely chipped desk, while the bathroom was old and poorly maintained, even with a rusty paper bin. Details that really make a difference, especially when you're paying a considerable amount. The worst part was the so-called "spa." The edge of the hot tub was black (it looked like dead skin), the water had a bad smell, and the counter-current tub had cloudy, smelly water. It was unhygienic and not at all relaxing. There's no spa atmosphere: no appropriate music, no soft lighting designed to induce relaxation. It feels more like a makeshift home spa than a professional wellness center. The "emotional shower" turned out to be a simple shower with colored LEDs. Furthermore, both the edges of the tubs and the inside of the shower were covered in a carpet of fake grass that was completely soaked with water and, obviously, smelly. The relaxation area was equipped with extremely hard and uncomfortable wooden chaise lounges: it was impossible to relax; in fact, after a few minutes, they were so rigid and not very ergonomic, we even got a headache. Regarding breakfast, we were informed that we had to have it by 9:15/9:30 because the room had to be prepared for lunch. This was a rather restrictive time for a stay that should be focused on relaxation. The breakfast was more B&B-like than resort-like, very simple and sparsely stocked. Furthermore, while we were still sitting down to breakfast at 9:30, the staff began clearing the buffet in front of us, creating an inelegant and decidedly unwelcoming atmosphere. We paid €235 per couple for the "Orchidea" package (spa treatment, overnight stay, massage, and breakfast), a price that, considering the overall experience, seems excessive for the quality offered. The only truly positive note: the massage. The masseuses Silvia and Filippa were exceptional, truly professional, well-trained, and excellent. A 5-star treatment, much better than other spas I've tried in the past. It's a shame that the rest of the facility isn't nearly up to par. In conclusion, an overall disappointing experience, except for the massage department. I wouldn't return.
