PATRONS BEWARE. If you’re looking for a place that tests your patience more than your taste buds, you’ve found it. The experience starts with the welcoming aroma of what smells like someone threw up. Five stars for authenticity, I guess.
We’re in town for the World Cup and asked for the Wi-Fi password. Apparently, there was “no Wi-Fi”—despite standing under a network called “The Cut.” After pointing that out, we were told they simply couldn’t give us the password. Fair enough… I guess the Wi-Fi is VIP-only.
Then we committed the unforgivable crime of asking for a half pepperoni, half cheese pizza. Apparently, that’s asking too much in 2026.
To top it off, it took about 15 minutes to get a second round of drinks. It was pretty clear the staff couldn’t keep up with a busy crowd. This place feels more like a small-town bar that wasn’t prepared for an event of this size.
If you’re visiting Gloucester, do yourself a favor and skip this place. Head over to Minglewood Harborside instead. It’s right on the waterfront, has a much better atmosphere, fresh seafood, sushi, cocktails, live music, and, in our experience, a far better overall vibe for visitors.
