Texas Live! is a massive sports bar with plenty of screens, a lively atmosphere, and decent food and drinks. We watched the FIFA quarterfinals here, and the energy throughout the venue was fantastic. The screen quality was excellent, making it a great place to catch a big game.
They also enhance the overall experience with live performances during breaks and rotating cameras that occasionally feature guests on the big screens, which adds a fun and engaging touch.
However, there were a few downsides. Our table reservation ended up costing over $450 after taxes and the mandatory 20% gratuity for groups. Unfortunately, the table we were assigned was directly behind the DJ booth, which partially blocked our view of the screens. To make matters worse, there was a water leak directly above our table.
The food menu is fairly limited, mostly consisting of finger foods. The vegetarian burger wasn't very good, and there were no mocktail options available, which was disappointing.
Overall, it's an excellent venue for watching major sporting events because of the atmosphere and screen setup, but the seating arrangements, food selection, and value for reserved tables could definitely be improved.
