This place gives you a feel of public diner/Izakaya. Dumplings are good. A couple things to note: 1)Cash only restaurant. 2)Due to a lack of staff, they ask customers to be patient to be served. However, we didn’t think the service was slow or bad. You can tell they work hard and try to provide good service. 3)Their dumplings are smaller than what we are used to, so it’s best to order 1.5 orders per person (ex. order 3 servings if you are a group of 2). 4) Make sure you order enough as you cannot make additional order for dumplings. 5)The restaurant is asking customers not to take pictures of the place but you can take pictures of your food.
We ordered 3 servings of dumplings, a small seaweed dish, a rice and drinks, and the total was about ¥3,000. It maybe a good idea to have a small bite here, then try bar hopping if you’re not hungry or try many restaurants while your stay.
Parents love this place so much, mum said they serve the best dumplings in Japan even tho she doesnt like leek!
To try their signature dumplings, you will need to order in go one and can’t add more dumpling orders after the first order is placed. We went in a group of 4 adults and ordered 4 portions of dumplings, which equals to two plates of the dumplings illustration shown in the menu. If going for a full meal probably needs to double the size (2 portions per person) as the dumplings are quite small itself.
Their grilled fish is sooo yummy, totally underrated! We ended up placing additional fish and drink orders.
Met a lot of locals here, they seem to be coming quite regularly and really enjoy the hospitality. Phone reservation is available.
Worth the wait! Came around 7:30pm, there was a line out the door when we got here, waited about 20 minutes. We wanted to practice our Japanese but the staff were so nice they immediately brought us english menus 😅 we ordered 3 servings of gyoza and 1 bottle of beer. Came out to ¥2290.
They gyoza came out sizzling on the pan, it was so delicious! Crispy edges and soft filling.
Apologies, I didnt see the "no photots" sign till we were leaving 🙇♀️"

Delicious. Their Gyoza is slightly different from the typical Japanese Gyoza. Cooked and served on a metal pan. You have to order 8 pieces per person. You cannot addon order of Gyoza later but you can add on other items. Other items like cold tofu was delicious too. Queued for almost an hour on a weekday evening.
They have English menu if you ask. They accept Cash only.
