Would be hard to believe if this isn’t the best restaurant in Switzerland.
I love it when Michelin restaurants try to break the mold of traditional tasting menu dishes and highlight new techniques and flavor/ingredient combinations not frequently seen.
Memories crushed it in this regard and there were so many memorable bites.
My two favorites were the celeriac dish and the magnolia dessert. Their caviar and carrot course is also phenomenal.
You can tell their staff and cooks are dedicated to their craft and deeply care. It shows up in their service and every dish they serve.
This place is clearly firing on all cylinders right now. Go here ASAP if you can!
Dinner to remember for sure. The interior design is super cool, especially the wine library, and the food was absolutely fantastic. Special highlight is the sommelier, who pours like an artist and knows everything about the list. One remark: acoustic panels would be a good idea because it was hard to hear the waiters.

Each of you listened to our comments with passion and care, while sharing your vision of cuisine and presenting every dish with such dedication and enthusiasm.
I could not have dreamed of a better restaurant to be our very first three-Michelin-star experience. It went far beyond our expectations. From the chef’s signature char dish to the caviar lentils with alpine dashi, every plate was simply stunning—a true love letter to the Alpine terroir.
I would also like to extend my deepest thanks to Chef Sven Wassmer for his exceptional cuisine, and to his entire team for crafting a culinary journey that will truly remain in our memories.
We are already looking forward to returning next summer.

Fantastic! To celebrate a special occasion, I had dinner at Memories in Bad Ragaz with two close friends, and the entire evening was nothing short of extraordinary. We enjoyed the 10-course tasting menu, accompanied by a superbly curated wine selection prepared especially for us.
Every single course—from the very first bite to the final dish—was outstanding. The level of detail was astonishing: impeccable craftsmanship, beautifully balanced flavors, a strong focus on local produce, and meticulous preparation throughout. Each plate felt thoughtful, refined, and deeply intentional.
The service truly elevated the experience to another level. Every member of the team was exceptionally friendly, warm, and professional. What made it even more special was that members of the kitchen staff and the head chef personally joined our table to explain the dishes in detail; an incredibly personal touch that made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued.
The sommelier deserves special praise as well: outstanding wine choices, perfectly matched to the menu, combined with impressive expertise and a genuine enthusiasm for discussing the wines. It was both educational and a real pleasure.
All in all, an absolutely unforgettable dining experience. We left with full hearts, inspired palates, and a collection of wonderful memories. Memories truly lives up to its name! Highly recommended for anyone seeking something truly exceptional. ✨🍷🍽️
