Had most beautiful lunch here recently. The Iberico pork was a highlight, perfectly cooked. Both the fettuccine and the capeletti were perfection.
But above all else, what truly makes this place is the service. It was attentive, seamless, and completely impeccable throughout our entire sitting. Good to see the boss amongst with the staff too—it elevates the whole dining experience to another level. Excellent. Go team Straker’s!
The food is fantastic here, I genuinely only have good things to say about it. We ordered the mussel flat bread and the courgette fritti to start, both were great but the mussel flat bread was standout, a very memorable dish. We got the chicken dish and crab pasta for the mains - I was particularly impressed by the chicken, loved the herbs and the chicken was so soft with such crispy skin.
Service was good and it’s a nice restaurant.
Despite it being a great meal, I was surprised by how expensive it was (dare I say slightly overpriced). The alcohol is all really expensive and there are really no reasonably priced wine options which I think is what gets you.
It’s a great restaurant, somewhere for a special occasion when you feel like treating yourself and splurging!

Enjoyed my first experience at straker's. some great food in there, a couple of dishes (seam bream & fettuccine) maybe lacked that extra spark to go from good to excellent, but still very good.
the price point is pretty punchy but understandable with the name and location, but when comparing similar restaurants i tend to frequent it is noticeable.
service and ambience really pleasant. rhythm of the meal was good.
i wouldn't rush back but would recommend giving it a try

Wow the chicken liver was an outstanding dish incredibly creamy and packed with flavour. The flatbread with mussels that followed was just as impressive, with a truly mouthwatering texture and taste. The Dover sole was grilled to perfection absolutely fantastic from start to finish.
One small point for improvement: although reservations can be made until 9:00 pm, it would be great if ordering coffee or drinks after 10:15 pm were still possible, as we were unfortunately unable to do so.
Overall, a wonderful dining experience that I would happily recommend ⭐

Really good, especially the seafood dishes! The menue was interesting as well :) They use quite a bit of oil. I find that good and it was not too much, but it is something to note if you do not like slightly more oily food. Also a very nice atmosphere & good music.
