Key Information
Spice Lounge (Ek Bar) offers a comfy environment with live music and craft cocktails. It features beautiful interiors and aims to be a chilling spot in Moradabad, serving a wide menu that includes Indian and other popular dishes.
Customer Perception
Customer perception is mixed, with significant negative feedback outweighing positive comments. While some appreciate the ambiance, staff awareness, and food, many reviews highlight issues such as exorbitant prices for subpar food quality, poor service, broken air conditioning, and unprofessional staff. Specific complaints include tasteless dishes (Dal Makhni, Dahi Kebab), an amateur DJ, uninvited guests in reserved areas, and valet service damaging cars. There were also serious allegations of being locked in due to billing disputes and the establishment operating as a 'local wine shop' late at night. The manager, Mithun, and bouncer, Mr. Thakur, were frequently mentioned negatively.
The venue is known as 'Spice Lounge (Ek Bar)', indicating it functions as both a lounge and a bar. It emphasizes craft cocktails and live music as part of its entertainment offerings. Despite its glamorous facade, several customer reviews point to significant operational and service issues.
No specific best times to visit were mentioned, but the presence of live music and craft cocktails suggests it is primarily an evening or late-night venue.

The place has so much potential. It somehow lost to leave that mark. The menu is so wide. But i wonder if it has any taste. We tried pizza and noodles. Of which noodles were good. Quantity was okay as well. According to prize that was too costly. Not worth.
Note to the owner: You have such beautiful interiors and it is on a good location. Please work on your restaurants publicity.
Spice Lounge stands out as the epitome of disappointment in the city. Despite its glamorous facade, the reality inside is starkly different. The prices are exorbitant for the dismal quality of food and service offered. The ambience tries to impress with glitz but fails to deliver any semblance of comfort or luxury.
The staff, illiterate and poorly trained, exude unprofessionalism at every turn. It's not uncommon for the place to transform into a local wine shop post 11 pm, reflecting its lack of adherence to any standards of dining etiquette.
Attempts to address concerns are futile; the owner remains inaccessible, leaving the inept manager, Mithun, to ineffectively manage issues. The bouncer, Mr. Thakur, is another nightmare—a rude figure who oversteps his role, treating customers with disdain as if he were the owner himself.
In conclusion, Spice Lounge is a cautionary tale for anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience. Its combination of high prices, pretentious ambience, subpar food, and unprofessional staff make it a place to avoid at all costs.
My experience at Spice Lounge was an utter nightmare. Upon arrival, we were greeted by an unbearably hot atmosphere due to broken air conditioning. Despite requesting changes to our food orders, our requests were ignored, and the dishes we did receive, such as the Dal Makhni and Dahi Kebab, were tasteless and poorly prepared.
The advertised DJ turned out to be a complete amateur who arrived without any equipment, forcing us to play music from our phones for five hours. The manager compounded our frustration by allowing uninvited guests into our reserved area, completely disregarding our privacy.
To make matters worse, the valet service managed to damage our car twice while parking it. The most distressing part of the evening, however, was being locked inside the restaurant compound for three hours past midnight due to a billing dispute. The owner was unreachable, and we only managed to resolve the issue after involving the police.
We ended up paying a staggering bill of 70,000 rupees for this horrific experience. Spice Lounge failed in every aspect of service, comfort, and professionalism, creating an evening we wish we could forget. I strongly advise anyone considering dining here to avoid it unless you're prepared for a night of frustration and disappointment.
Worst staff ever- Mithoon- Manager who is not eligible for the post & Bouncer Mr. Thakur at least show some professionalism.
I loved the food and experience of the ambience and the staff is very much aware about the service and taste of coustomer.. overall love to goo again......
One of the most horrendous experience of my life.
The staff is rude and incompetent. The food quality is not up to the mark and even after telling the staff they don't seem to listen to your complaints.
The Dj was a joke and in reality was just another guy with a speaker for which they demanded Rs.5500/-
Despite being booked in its entirety for the whole evening, multiple uninvited guests kept on gatecrashing our party and even the Valet services were a disaster.
The worst place to go , be it a social or private event
