We visited this place for a late lunch after some activities in Helen. We arrived after their 3 p.m. break and were seated immediately without any wait.
Although it seemed busy, the staff were very friendly, and the ambiance was warm and welcoming. The orders didn't take long to arrive, and the food was awesome! The soups, sushi, and appetizers were very well prepared, presented, and tasty. We ordered some chicken, stir-fry, and noodles; everything tasted excellent. The portion sizes were also large. I can easily say this place offers some of the best Thai food I have had, and I want to go back to Helen to try their other menu items. If you are in the area and like Asian food, don't miss this spot.
I tied a variety of items including the wings, Kani salad, 2 sushi rolls, mango sticky rice, and a cocktail! Overall, everything was pretty good, the wings were crispy and had a good dipping sauce. I did not enjoy how the Kani salad had lettuce, most places I have had Kani salad do it slightly different. I had never had it with lettuce before, but the top part was good! I enjoyed both sushi rolls and the mango sticky rice was fresh with soft mangoes! The margarita was great! Our server was kind and attentive. We ate outside and really enjoyed the patio on a nice day!

We visited Spice 55 during our trip to Helen, and it absolutely did not disappoint! This has become one of our favorite places to visit whenever we're in the area, especially this time of year.
Our waitress, Jess, was exceptional. Since we were new to the restaurant, we asked for her recommendations. She was honest, knowledgeable, and guided us toward menu items she thought we would enjoy. Every suggestion was absolutely on point.
The food was fresh, flavorful, and exceeded our expectations. From the fried rice to the incredible sake flight and everything in between, every bite was delicious. Jess's recommendations made the experience even better and helped us discover some new favorites.
The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was outstanding, and the food was incredible. 10/10 highly recommend Spice 55 to anyone visiting Helen. We will definitely be back!

Ok, yes when you think of Helen…. I know the first thing is not Thai food. But hear me out! This place is amazing!!! And I’m not just saying that because I love Thai food… When you walk in, it’s just absolutely beautiful . The service I had was phenomenal! Jessie…. She Has the best personality you’ll ever meet, And gave phenomenal service!!! 10 out of 10 you have to ask for her when you go and eat there!
The food was AMAZING! My party and I live near Atlanta and went to Helen for the weekend. I have tried good sushi and also bad sushi, and let me tell you the sushi here is AMAZING.
The fish is so fresh and not fishy at all. My boyfriend got the sashimi combo which had thick cuts of sashimi which impressed us. None of the fish was fishy or tasted weird. I ordered the sushi combo and fantasy roll, both tasted amazing! My only complaint was the amount of rice on the nigiri in comparison to the fish.
The rest of my party ordered Thai dishes which they all agreed was super delicious. We were a party of 9 and got 20% gratuity.
The only thing I didn’t like/find very weird was the fact that the men’s restroom had a painting of a NAKED WOMAN. The women's restroom had a picture of woman with a dress with trees, no nudity there. My party and I thought it was a very weird thing to have in the mens restroom….
I would recommend this place and would love to go again next time I visit Helen, but I hope they address the naked woman situation since I am not the only person who noticed it. I saw another person in the reviews also address this. I will add pictures to show the food. Will not add picture of painting to respect the artist.
