The food and service was not quite authentic, but the food was pretty close. The atmosphere and service were great! If the banchan was served with the main course instead of as part of the appetizer, that would help. Also, the fact that you have to pay for kimchi is weird (you get three complementary ones, one should always be a type of kimchi). Also, tables are really small and makes it hard to have family service type meal (in Korea, they do have banchan dishes were you can do two or three on one dish). Other than that, it was pretty good. Our sever, David, was really cool. Explained everything pretty well!
I was blown away by the quality, authenticity, and hospitality of this restaurant. As a Korean, I was impressed w the menu selection - 반찬 options of some that are difficult to find at stores and other Korean restaurants. Oh also all made in house. 짜장면 was delicious sauce not too sweet. 오징어볶음 was my favorite, tender, spicy, good amount of squid. 돼지고기 was meaty, not too fatty. Portions were sizable - 3 dishes for 2 ppl was plenty.
Our waitress Judy was incredibly kind, attentive, offering 반찬 refills, checking in. She made the experience from great to unforgettable.
A delicious, enjoyable night. I will be back (by myself and w friends). 너무 맛있었어요. 잘 먹었습니다!

Solo diner without a reservation, was seated immediately at the bar, no waiting. Ordered a very refreshing cocktail which the super friendly bartender recommended after an exhausting day walking around a hot and humid Boston in August. Had the beef and the dumplings. Everything was delicious, the sides, radish kimchi greens, were flavorful and complemented the main perfectly. I highly recommend, they still rate a Michelin shout out.

This is quite possibly my favorite restaurant in Boston, and one of the few places I return to repeatedly. My partner and I have limited overlap in the city, but whenever we do, we come here.
It’s a place that gets you excited about food and flavor. If you’re not sure what an ingredient is or what a cocktail might taste like, ask — the engagement with curiosity is unparalleled. We’ve had many dishes on their ever changing menu, the most recent favorite being the japchae, and all have been incredible.
If you don’t know what you’re looking for, or you’re just after a lovely experience, I highly recommend sitting at the bar. The bartenders are absolutely why we keep coming back. The food speaks for itself, but the service is what turns a meal into an experience.
I only wish I had better photos to share.

Great ambience, lovely food options, and amazing texture and flavors. The beef bulgogi is amazing. Pancake have amazing crunch exterior with soft interior. The banchan are flavorful as well. They offer a small but well curated selection of Korean inspired cocktail. Overall a lovely time!
