I saw a line for this shop and got curious. One of the locals mentioned that the meat buns here are handmade, which gives the bun a unique texture similar to noodles. The buns are sold by half a dozen (¥600). I thought that the meat to bun ratio could have been better. Upon biting into the bun, I found that there was quite a bit of space inside with a round ball of meat. The meat was on the salty side but very juicy. If in the area, join the queue and head to the nearby pavilion to savour it.
I wasn’t familiar with these dumplings but there was a long line so I thought they must be good. While the line was long, it moved quickly so don’t worry about the line.
3 dumplings was a good mid-afternoon snack before a light dinner!
The dumplings were fantastic. There is a nice gazebo in the park where you can sit and enjoy your dumplings as take away.
FOOD : GOOD! PLACE : Ok SERVICE : Ok PROCE : Fair.
Arigato “Google Map” for helping me being here.
This place close to the Land Mark of China Town so its very crowded. Beside, this place also famous, long line here (be patient).
“The Pao” very delicious, juicy inside and nice aroma. Eat it while its hot, its perfect!
This is “take out” food so buy the food then you eat it outside or while you walk. The Lady served us very fast, its Good!
The quality match with the price. Its a “Fair Price”.
You need to come here if you are in Kobe China Town.
Awesome dumplings! Don’t be intimidated by the long line. The line does move very quickly. The staff are very friendly and are used to all the foreigners recording and taking their pictures. The staff work in sync and efficiently to get the line moving so that you could enjoy the cheap and delicious dumplings. Always a must when I’m in the area.
It was good. Pretty authentic, although I do think the pork filling was a little too salty. One 包 will set you back 100¥, although I’m pretty sure you can only get a set of 6 or 10.
