Based on the provided search results, 'Shmulik Cohen' appears to refer to a restaurant in Tel Aviv, rather than an individual chef. The restaurant is noted for its Jewish cuisine and is identified as Chef Eyal...
Delicious Eastern European Jewish cuisine. From Gefilte fish to chopped liver. The area and location is a bit weird, also having to ring to be to be allowed in, but once you're inside, it feels home
Used to be one of the best Jewish food. Not anymore. The food has no taste, the mazette are industrial and not homemade, the רגל קרושה is industrial, by its taste. The meat קורקבנים is by far the worst one that I ate in my life. The service is okay no more, no smile by the waitress. For me it was big disappointment comparing the last one I've been there it was more than 6 years ago.

Original east European Jewish food. Very tasty. The plum vodka is magnificent.

Clean restaurant, friendly service, and a powerful AC in very hot summer day in Tel Aviv. BUT, the food was tasteless and
dull, while the price was way too high for this food. We were 6, and we all shared the same opinion.

This place has great Ashkenazi food in a modest environment. Although it's a little out of the way, it's worth it! It's more like fine Jewish family dining than a New York kosher deli (which is all we have where I am from). Excellent kreplach and cholent. Even my kids loved it. I wish this restaurant delivered to New York! Ha. Ha.
Anyway, I also ate at another Ashkenazi/Eastern European restaurant that was a little closer to the touristy areas near the beach and hotels. It was not as good as the Shmulik Cohen Restaurant.
I hope to return to this restaurant the next time I'm in Israel. Todah rabah.
