SHARI Tokyu Kabukicho Tower

My family and I were really looking forward to eating at Shari last night. As soon as we walked in, we saw a beautifully decorated atmosphere with a modern and elegant feel. However, when we tried to order, they told us those set dinners were not available then they had to give us another menu since they didn't have a chance to update the English menu. This iwas understandable. Then when our kids' sushi dish arrived, they were missing 2 pieces each. After asking the serer and chief to check the menu, they brought us the missing pieces. Our chawanmushi was supposed to include foie gras but there was no hint of it. The server said it was blended into the chawanmushi and it's very subtle. The server cleaned up our utensils before our sushi arrived. I thought she was very thoughtful in replacing them with new ones for our sushi nigari. But it turned out that they thought we were all done with our meal and ready for dessert. Overall, I feel Shari has lots of potential and I hope the staff will better familiarized with the day's menu and how our dinner was going. I also hope the folks at the restaurant taks this as constructive criticism as the food was pretty good and the servers were all very nice and they tried

The ambience is nice and calm with subtle lighting . Its spacious and comfortable. The service was really good, and the waiter Shuto was even able to speak english which made ordering easy. The waiting time for the food was really fair. Me and my friends all liked our meals and would recommend this restaurant to others.

So happy we chose this place for a birthday celebration dinner. Excellent, attentive service. Relaxed but classy ambiance. Every dish was delicious, the mushrooms were 👌 The highlight has to be the beef though, in all the different preparations... the wagyu nigiri was divine, and the fillets were melt-in-mouth tender. Perfectly cooked to our liking - medium rare/rare. Would highly recommend this place for a special occasion.

Well, it was disappointing. It was just another mediocre buffet. Sushi, tempura, prawn cutlets and roast beef were good but the rest were meh or quite bad. Dessert was - don't even bother.... 1500 yen addition for all you can drink alcohol was worth it as the price of 1 drink is high. I had some Sake, which was nice. If you serve food that is below average, it's better not serve it at all. There were not many different varieties either. I can't recommend this place. The staff were very nice and professional. Also, there are high steps around the buffet table. There are big signs and the staff also warn you however some people still had accidents. It's not a good idea to have uneven floor around the buffet tables.

Stunning ! We went in for dinner and this was the best restaurant I’ve eaten in Tokyo. The chief was incredibly talented, so the cooks ! Staff was very nice to us and polite! Talking about dishes, fish couldn’t be any fresher ! We’ve ordered the 7 course menu (~6000YEN), and everything was delicious. Amazing experience ! We will definitely come back at lunch for the buffet !
