I went to this gym to work out. I wanted to get a day pass. When I arrived at the gym, there was nobody at the front desk. I waited there for several minutes and eventually some girl came wandering around the corner looking very lazy and unwelcoming. I asked her politely if I could buy a day pass and she said that her credit card machine was not working and the only way for me to do it was to pay cash. I thought this was very strange. She was unfriendly, dismissive. As a potential new monthly customer, she expressed zero desire to sell me on the gym or even make it seem like a place where I would feel somewhat welcome. Zero effort. Then I said that I was just gonna leave and she didn’t even say anything. She just walked away back from the front desk to wherever she was standing and talking to her friends around the corner. This was the absolute worst service I’ve ever gotten at a gym and there is no chance I will ever join this gym. The gym looked decent. It was pretty small. I am very unimpressed and I suggest that management discusses with the shorter brunette girl who was working there on Wednesday February 18 at 5:30 PM to correct the attitude that she works with. I do not recommend this gym at all, the vibes and the energy was way off.
This gym is the best in the area. Spacious, clean, lots of mirrors, and has signal. The downside is how expensive it is comparing to other gyms in tel aviv.
My experience with Holmes Place gym was unfortunately marred by a significant waiting time for registration assistance. Despite my anticipation, no one came to assist me. This lack of prompt service was disappointing and affected my overall impression of the gym. I hope they address this issue to ensure a smoother registration process for future visitors.
WORST customer service I ever experienced. Had to persecute them to call me back just to inform me of the prices and start the gym. I even went to the gym myself (5km away from my place) after three days waiting and they wouldn’t even tell me in person because I had to wait for someone to call me. STUPIDLY RIDICULOUS service.
Trust me that if there were minus starts I would -5
**2026** update to text below: It's like a case study in terrible management. I actively see trainers giving bad lessons thst can cause injury, leaving weights around and not cleaning. You are better off doing professional wrestling than using the personal trainers here.
Been a member for 7 years and amazed at how it always get worse. Other Holmes members are surprised you do NOT get a towel. Thats the least of their problems. There is a manager who bullies the customers.
There is a manager named Liat who calls me every few months, I say hello, then she hangs up.
Most of the trainers do not re rack their weights or pick up weights, causing a huge mess. I cant make that up -- yes, trainers are leaving weights on the floor. Theyre just mean people.
Around covid, they bought the other gym in Dizzengoff Center, closed it down. Fine. Then they closed one of their rooms with weight bags, which was the only space for ground work. There is no semblance of the workers caring about the gym members.
2025 update: they are continuing to become worse but have new equipment. They sold off half the space and it is beyond crowded. They dont have cleaning equipment!!! I guess they expect people to bring cleaning wipes???
