This place is absolutely delicious. It’s our new favourite after our previous one closed down. Everything tasted fresh and of great quality and the meat was cooked to perfection. We’ll definitely be back again.
Wow, this resto has just been renovated. I don’t know that the food was like before but last night we had a lovely meal. Draught Hawkstone lager.
Deffo recommend a visit.

Travelled an hour to Satya with my friends as I’d seen a few of their videos on Instagram. Food looked great and the quality of ingredients looked good too so we thought we’d check it out. My honest review of the place below:
Pros:
- Goat curry was one of the best iv had, tender and falling off the bone. Masala was nice and portion size was big. Naan also was crispy and cooked well
- Service was prompt/quick, although we were the only ones there at the time we arrived.
Cons:
- we felt let down by the customer service, there wasn’t really any conversation from the owner in general or about what their specials are or what he’d recommend. We weren’t sure what to order and felt a little rushed to order too
- the beer was flat. Not the end of the world but if you’re paying £5.50 for a pint you want to look forward to drinking it.
- When we asked for the bill, they included the service charge on there and didn’t give us a receipt beforehand. This should have really been given to us as we would have opted out of the service charge. Equally, we could have asked but this was disappointing.
Overall, we were excited to try the restaurant hence why we travelled an hour but unfortunately we would not visit again as it didn’t live up to the hype of the insta videos.

Been here twice in one week now and honestly the food is to die for, absolutely beautiful — I can’t even put into words just how good it tastes. Proper fresh, full‑on flavour in every single dish, nothing watered down or rushed. I don’t eat meat myself but my mate had plenty and said it was some of the best he’s ever had. All their meat comes straight from a proper local farm — none of that cheap, tasteless supermarket rubbish — and the big plus is it’s not halal, which is exactly what we look for.
Great food means nothing without great staff — and these lot are spot on. The two young ladies working there are absolutely awesome, right on their game every second, quick, polite, know exactly what they’re doing and make you feel welcome straight away. They’re a massive part of why this place works so well. They’re also dead honest and clear about every ingredient too — no messing about with vague labels so you always know exactly what you’re eating. Portions are fair and just right for the price, which is very reasonable. Wouldn’t go anywhere else round here — 100% recommend it.
