What a hidden gem! This was our first time dining at Santorini by Georgios, and we already can’t wait to come back! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with such warmth that we immediately felt at home.
The food was absolutely delicious—every bite was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere is stunning yet relaxing, making it the perfect place to enjoy a wonderful meal with family, friends, or even a date night. It’s one of those places where you don’t feel rushed—you just want to sit back, enjoy the ambiance, and savor every moment.
A very special thank you to our server, Peyton! She was truly exceptional. She greeted us with the biggest smile, was incredibly kind, attentive, and thoughtful throughout our entire meal, and made our first visit feel so special. Her genuine hospitality and positive energy elevated an already amazing experience. She is an absolute gem and a huge reason we’ll be returning.
If you’re looking for incredible Greek food, beautiful surroundings, outstanding service, and an overall unforgettable dining experience, Santorini by Georgios is a must-visit. We left full, happy, and already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend!
Our favorite Greek restaurant, Santorini, and our favorite restaurateur, Giorgio, have moved to Fort Lauderdale, and of course we had to come and try the new location!
Here are our findings:
They have significantly increased their seating capacity, easily accommodating more than double the number of guests compared to their previous location. The beautiful waterfront setting is well worth the approximately 35-minute drive from Downtown Miami.
The best part? The food is still their signature Santorini cuisine, but somehow it tastes even better than before, including their former South Beach location.
• The assorted dips were outstanding, fresh, and packed with flavor.
• The falafel was perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and beautifully seasoned.
• The chicken kebab was spectacular, beautifully presented, juicy, and grilled to perfection.
• The meat kebab was equally impressive, with excellent presentation and succulent, perfectly grilled meat.
A special congratulations to Giorgio, an amazing and friendly owner who genuinely loves his customers and makes everyone feel welcome. His passion for hospitality shines through in every detail of the dining experience.
Santorini Fort Lauderdale is a wonderful addition to the waterfront dining scene, and we look forward to many more visits. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We booked our reservations outdoor on the patio and were seated immediately. There was subtle Mediterranean house music playing and lots of fans blowing to keep us cool in the heat. Our server, Peyton, was super fun and made the experience amazing.
I went to order the cocktail that came in a coconut but I guess they didn't have that one or the pineapple in stock that day. I got a frozen daiquiri instead and it was perfect. My sister got her favorite drink - the Hugo and was excited to have it. All the other cocktails came out amazing and when we asked for a super dirty martini they did not dissapoint.
We got the dip platter, zucchini chips, dolmades, fried halloumi, and crispy calamari for apps. Everything came out super fast and loved trying each one. I really enjoyed the dip platter and the diversity of it. The saganaki was a bit dissapointing though because we could taste the vodka that didn't cook off after lighting it on fire with every bite and was not very appetizing to eat.
We were mostly full but still ordered entrees after all of those apps and they were still amazing. We were celebrating a birthday that night and our server managed to get us a free dessert and popped a candle on it for us to sing to her.
Peyton went above and beyond for us and we were actually shocked when she told us it was her first night on the job. She did amazing!! Would love to come here again as the whole experience was super fun!
I chose Santorini by Georgios for my bridal shower, and it was one of the best decisions I could have made. As someone who works in the event industry, I’m incredibly particular when it comes to service, food, and overall experience—and this place exceeded every expectation.
Jen was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. She was so accommodating, responsive, and made the entire planning process effortless. The restaurant itself is stunning—the décor was exactly my aesthetic, and every detail created the most beautiful atmosphere. And the food? Absolutely incredible. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about it!
Everyone was so impressed by the ambiance, the service, and the overall experience. It truly made my bridal shower unforgettable. Santorini by Georgios is unmatched, and I already can’t wait to find another reason to host an event here. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with exceptional hospitality.
We had a few hours to watse before our flight and we had the opportunity to eat at this new restaurant that has been open for 5 months. My waiter was Rob and he was amazing! He was able to make recommendations and let me tell you the Grilled Prawns were absolutely amazing!! We both ordered the same thing and we received 6 jumbo prawns, white rice and a delicious Greek salad. Our drinks were delicious I ordered passion and a strawberry margarita. I would highly recommend this spot and Rob as our waiter again. Also, outside seating on the canal the best!!!
