Roast is still one of my top recommendations in Hyderabad for coffee, desserts, and overall cafe experience. The space is large, there’s plenty of seating, and despite being packed on most weekends, the service is quick and well managed. The food is consistently good, and the desserts are easily among the best in the city. We tried the Ube dessert, fresh-baked bread, and Italian desserts, and every one of them was excellent.
The only thing that didn’t excite me was the coffee. It’s good, but not memorable. After trying their pour-over, cold coffee, and flat white on multiple visits, they all felt similar and lacked a distinct character. I’d happily come back for the desserts and food, but I’m still waiting for the coffee to match the rest of the experience. Overall, a solid cafe that’s definitely worth visiting.

The café is massive, and the experience begins the moment you walk in. The beautifully displayed coffee beans, pastries, and croissants immediately catch your attention and create a premium, inviting atmosphere.
The videos playing on the screens showcasing their sourcing, quality standards, and hygiene practices add another layer of confidence and make the experience even more engaging.
Coming to the food and beverages—the coffee was exceptional. I tried the Lotus Biscoff Latte, and it was absolutely delicious. The pizza was equally impressive, and the croissant was simply out of this world—fresh, flaky, and perfectly baked.
What stood out most was the attention to detail. Everything seemed thoughtfully prepared and executed with perfection. The staff was courteous, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our visit.
The café also offers plenty of space, making it an excellent choice for team meetings, casual work sessions, or group gatherings.

Kerala Fried Prawns and Roast Special Frappe were my favourites from here. We came here for a family snacks plus dinner. The ambiance is really good and nice to see the deserts all placed so that we can see them. The food was good and tasty.
They also have valet service available.

Overall it was our first time here and it was a good experience. A recommended place it you want to have a cafe experience in Hyderabad.

Before writing the food review, I have to say the service was really poor I mean, genuinely bad. We were a party of two, trying to grab lunch on a hot, sunny day, and requested indoor seating. Since it was peak afternoon, our request was initially turned down, which we understood and didn’t mind. However, while sitting outside, water droplets from the spraying fan kept falling onto our seats and the table was not clean. When the food arrived, it was decent but not outstanding. We ordered mac and cheese and other dishes. The mac and cheese tasted artificial loaded with processed cheese and painfully salty. We asked the server to either replace or remake the dish with less salt. At first, they refused, claiming they couldn't do it, showing little willingness to understand our situation. After about 5-10 minutes of back-and-forth, they finally agreed and remade it. Considering the high prices and the food not meeting expectations, I don’t think it’s worth eating here. I used to dine at other Roast locations, and they were really good, but this one didn’t live up to the mark. Gelato was my only favourite thing from this restaurant.

The restaurant offers nice vibes, great food, and awesome taste. It is quite spacious with comfortable indoor and outdoor dining areas. We tried a variety of dishes, and most were delicious, fresh, well-presented, and perfectly cooked.
What truly stood out was their impressive dessert and ice cream section — the freedom to taste and customize according to your preference was a fantastic touch. You can also experience their coffee and bakery process firsthand, where extreme levels of quality and hygiene are maintained.
The service was quick, and the staff was very polite and attentive. The valet parking staff were super friendly and added to the overall experience. With a private theater, it makes for an unforgettable visit to this cafe. Highly recommended..
