My friend and I got there 25 mins early we didn’t know that we wouldn’t be allowed to grab a drink at the bar before our reservation because there were seatings so we just stood outside till we were allowed to go in at our 9pm seating. The decor is beautiful, we were excited to go here coz we loved Casablanca the movie growing up. Making a reservation was easy we called and they got us a table earlier that evening as we had just arrived in Casablanca so it was nice that they were so accommodating. The hostess was sweet and welcoming. I can’t remember my servers name now that I’m back home in Toronto but he was great and attentive we ordered blueberry gin martinis which I found to be too sweet so I didn’t finish I gave mind to my gf. We had the buratta which was fresh. The only critique I’d give is it needs more bread if it’s being shared by 2 people. We ordered the steak for 2 medium rare but it was chewy so weren’t crazy about the cut of the steak. The mashed potatoes were good and so were the gravy and the mushroom sauce it came with. It had veggies but I didnt eat them. We were so full we took the steak home with us. We were too full to order dessert I ordered an espresso martini my friend ordered wine. Overall the service was good. It’s an experience if you’re into the movie coz the music the ambiance, the novelty, i dont know if i would do it again. I will say the door staff outside were great super funny and friendly, they made us laugh, took pics of us, very interactive.
