Food was tasty - setting was ok , overall not worth a 2 stars Michelin . Dishes were good just as any high end restaurant but nothing special in terms of taste or efforts. The little flower cup made of flour was boring and it was there as amuse bouche , entry , and dessert … service was nice and kind but not professional ( a lot of students ) . Vaisselle and Water glass were also the most common you could find … Maybe because it was Christmas Eve ? For the price you expect much more , plus our bags were just laying on the floor there were no place to put them .
We went to Create to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it was an extraordinary culinary experience. I have never eaten so well in my life. The elegance of the place, the genuine care for the guests, and the meticulous attention to every detail made the evening truly special. Everything clearly reflects a Michelin-star level, from the cuisine to the service.
Highly recommended if you are looking for an exceptional evening.
In all honesty, the dinner was amazing. We frequently eat at Michelin restaurants and this deserves two stars. Wine pairing was also spot-on.
But… it’s an absolute rip-off to take the premium wine pairing. 5 glasses for 230 euros when they confirmed to have an uplift of x6 is simply not right. X3 is perfectly fine, having x6 is a disgrace. Pretending an average price of 45 per glass for wines such as Keller Riesling von der Fels (40 consumer price), Villahuercos Rioja (consumer price 36) and Szamodni Tokaji.. (also Meursault but young at 80 euros from Michelot) is simply not right. It shows enough that they open only a Meursault with a Coravin but others are probably same as a regular menu. To be fully transparent, I reached out to them, and they confirmed an uplift of x6.
Food is great, bring a nice bottle from your cellar.
For completeness, 230 euro wine paring for 5 glasses below:
• Keller Riesling von der Fels — 40 (per bottle)
• Rudi Pichler Grüner Veltliner 2017 — 52 (per bottle)
• Villahuercos Rioja — 36 (per bottle)
• Meursault – Domaine Michelot | Meursault — 80 (per bottle, half glass)
• Barolo “Serradenari” DOCG 2020 — 74 (per bottle, half glass)
• Szamorodni Tokaji 500 ml — 16 (per bottle)
We dined at Create, and this was truly one that sticks with you. We visit Michelin restaurants regularly, so the bar is set quite high by now, but Create managed to clear it with surprising ease.
What stood out most was the balance between refinement and relaxation. The service was truly perfect: attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely hospitable, without ever feeling stiff or artificial. Exactly what you hope for at this level.
The evening started strong with a series of amuse-bouches that were all of a high standard. Not only technically sound, but also truly exciting in terms of flavor. After that, the menu continued to impress, without becoming "too much." Beautiful products, great finesse, and clear choices throughout that felt logical. The wine pairing complemented this very well; no safe standard combinations, but glasses that really added something to the dishes.
Also nice: the pace of the evening was spot on. You can tell that a lot of thought goes into the total experience here, and not just what is on the plate. Instead of the cheese course, we opted for an extra dessert, and that turned out to be absolutely the right choice. A strong conclusion to a dinner that never really faltered.
Cre feels like a restaurant that not only cooks technically very well, but also understands how to give guests a complete evening. For us, without a doubt one of the better Michelin experiences of recent times.
