Not going back. First of all if you are new to this place, it’s small and just a to - go place. No seats inside. They have 2 mini tables outside.
The bagels are hard like rock , our jaw hurt.
We got everything bagel, sesame bagel. And the cream cheese is not up to the mark aswell.
We got mochas ( oat and almond ) tasting very bad. Endedup not liking our breakfast.
2 bagels and 2 mochas
We paid $32.
Someone added a review mentioning they dont cut the bagels into half, so true. They dont!
They have variety of breads and family owned so i would say you go and take ur chance. I usually like to support family owned.
I've been trying different items at the Kennett Farmer's Market. The croissants are expensive, but the almond one is large and crisp. The chocolate one had almost no chocolate and my friend found the same of hers. The filling in the almond is plentiful and okay, but the flavor is a bit strange. I'll admit the pretzel and bagels were tasty, but the cookie was nothing to brag about. Sadly, the bread was a big mistake. Friends have raved about it, but somehow I ended up with a sliced loaf of the Seeded Ancient Grains, which might have accounted for the consistency. I had such high hopes and love a good, chewy bread. This was not that and was difficult to eat and enjoy. It would be impossible to enjoy as a sandwich because it is difficult to easily bite through, but may be okay toasted. Overall, I've tried a bunch of the items with high hopes for all of them, but won't be patronizing Brandywine Valley Bread again. My friend has given up too. It is sad because the sales guy is consistently pleasant and helpful, but spending too much on so-so bread items is not worth it to me.

Maria was so kind, she gave us a free cookie since it was my birthday last week when I came in for the first time. The bagels, pastries, heck all of it is delicious and worth it! Especially the lox sandwich, gosh I'm gonna be dreaming of that sandwich til I return next time

Delicious bagels. Got 6 bagels to try, so far so good. The cream cheese is amazing, and the staff member working was so kind and patient. Please make a blueberry bagel in the future, it would be soooo good! Will definitely be back! Also the orange juice in the fridge is a 10/10!

Great for sensitive stomachs!!! I normally can’t eat gluten but recently discovered I can eat real fermented sourdough made from local grains and that’s exactly what they have!! Alllll of their goods are sourdough so I can eat it all and its amazing!! Absolutely no stomach issues from it!!
