I was in the area and decided to check this place out. The line wasn't long when I got there about 15 minutes before they opened, but by opening time, the line had grown. I ordered a good variety of salt bread to share and try. My favorite would be the garlic butter and pure milk cream one. They are made pretty well and worth trying out.
Went for the soft opening and really enjoyed the vibe of the place! They had a variety of salt bread flavors to try and coffee. The aesthetic of the place is super clean, bright and friendly! Everyone was really kind and the breads were served warm and fluffy! It was my first time trying salt bread and they were so flavorful! It’s a great new addition to the neighborhood and I’m excited for their official opening :)
I came an hour after opening and there's was barely a line. They were already sold out of the original, which I wanted to try, and sausage. I tried the cream ones which are the perfect mix of sweet and savory with the salty buttery bread and sweet cream. Each of the buns were about $5-7 but I feel it's reasonable and worth the price! There is limited seating inside.
I enjoyed this place! Prices are a little high but tasted good quality. The salt bread in NYC I enjoyed more but this was still good. My original Salt bread had a big pool of oil/butter inside of it
This place absolutely lives up to the hype. My first attempt ended in disappointment because they sold out before I could get my hands on anything. Lesson learned: get there early.
On my second visit, I arrived about 11 minutes after opening and was pleasantly surprised. The line looked intimidating, but it moved incredibly fast. I waited less than 10 minutes before ordering.
The original Korean salt bread is the standout. Served warm, it’s unbelievably buttery, soft, and fluffy with a perfectly golden exterior and just the right amount of flaky salt. It’s simple, but one of those pastries you immediately start craving again after the first bite.
This time I was also able to try some of the specialty breads. The savory garlic bread was phenomenal, filled with a creamy center that paired perfectly with the garlic flavor. The cream filled bread was light and airy, with a fluffy filling that wasn’t overly sweet. The strawberry cream bread was another favorite. The strawberries are sweetened just enough to make every bite taste indulgent while still feeling fresh.
Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and you can tell why they sell out so quickly. I picked up five breads for $30.
The line moves quickly. Just make sure you arrive close to opening if you want the full selection.
A definite must try for anyone who loves fresh bread and pastries. 🥐✨
