New location of Pizzeria Sei is amazing!
We tried:
* SUPPLIAL TELEFONO-super crispy outside with that insane cheesy pull
* CHICKEN CROQUETTE - really rich, loaded with chicken, especially good with the sauce
* GIARDINIERA - my absolute fave, honestly could eat the whole thing myself
* BROCCOLINI - best appetizer for a veggie lover like me. Love the crunchy grilled veggies
* RAGU - really deep, comforting flavor, so good
* 4 CULTURE DIAVOLA - complex flavors,spicy kick, super bold and layered flavors. Tastes like something you'd get at a Michelin level restaurant.
We also had both desserts, loved them, and the coffee was great.
I really appreciated that they offer non alcoholic wine and beer! I had the NA sparkling wine and it was good!
Service was super friendly too. Can't wait to come back!

My family and I had been looking forward to this opening for months, especially after seeing so much PR around it being named one of the best pizzas in the country. We came in with high expectations and a lot of excitement.
We ordered the Margherita Sei and the Ragu.
The Margherita Sei was juicy but lacks flavor. All we can taste is the wheat dough. We couldn’t taste much of the tomato or mozzarella, so this was pretty disappointing.
The Ragu was described to us as one of the more complex pizzas, but unfortunately it tasted overwhelmingly salty and heavy. We were expecting layered flavors and depth, but it mostly came across as salty without much balance. And with this one, we can’t taste anything else but the heavy flavors of the meat.
For $27–$30 per pizza, the overall quality and flavor fell far short of what we expected and didn’t feel worth the price.
We also ordered both parfaits. The yuzu one was definitely better, but both were still much too sweet for our taste, especially by Asian dessert standards. They felt heavy on the palate rather than refreshing.
Then the service made the experience worse. When our waiter asked what we thought of the Ragu, my family politely said it was good but a little heavy for our preference. He replied, “Whatever.” Instead of asking follow-up questions or taking the feedback, it came across as defensive and dismissive.
W really wanted to love this place, but the food and service did not live up to the hype or the price point.
we ordered the suppli which was so delicious with the vodka sauce and the ragu pizza which would’ve tasted better with more ragu. they have a sommelier for their sakes and wine and we’re able to taste a couple sakes.
overall the seating is very tight and you’re close to tables next to you. they are still working out kinks with their front of the house and food delivery timing. for example the table next to us just ordered and received their pizza before we did and they turned it away thinking it was delivered to the wrong table. the also forgot to deliver my drink and i had to remind them.
i’d like to go back in a few months once they find their rhythm.
Food was amazing! The pizzas had so much flavor and the bread was excellent. I think you need to have a good pallet and know what kind of food Los Angeles brings and this was on the spot. The pizza was made out of such high excellent deal. The cheese was good. The flavors the texture. Everything was amazing in this restaurant and I highly highly recommend coming it and kind of disappointing seeing some reviews saying it wasn’t but honestly I would say this is one of my favorite places pizza places I’ve gone to when you eat pizza usually feel full, but I felt so light and the crust was so good and it was just light
