I went to Papi Steak on June 18th for my birthday and had a really great experience overall. Reservations are required and a credit card is needed to hold the booking, with a strict cancellation policy ($50 per person if canceled late), so plan ahead.
The atmosphere is lively and upscale with a DJ, dim lighting, and a dress code, so it definitely feels like a dressed-up night out. The service was excellent—my waiter was attentive, knowledgeable, and kept my sparkling water refilled throughout the night.
For food, I had the lamb chops, Brussels sprouts, crab cake, and a cocktail. The lamb chops were the standout—absolutely amazing. The Brussels sprouts were surprisingly good, and the sides are generous enough to share. The crab cake was good but on the smaller side. Drinks and sides are fairly priced for an upscale spot, but overall this is an expensive dining experience—expect around $200+ per person. My total came to about $230 with tax and gratuity.
I also got to see their $1,000 steak presentation, which was really entertaining and added to the high-energy vibe of the restaurant.
The only downside was seating—I was placed toward the back as a solo diner, which wasn’t ideal—but overall I still enjoyed my birthday dinner. Great place for a special occasion if you’re ready to spend and want a fun, upscale experience.
