I went to Papi Steak on June 18th for my birthday and had a really great experience overall. Reservations are required and a credit card is needed to hold the booking, with a strict cancellation policy ($50 per person if canceled late), so plan ahead.
The atmosphere is lively and upscale with a DJ, dim lighting, and a dress code, so it definitely feels like a dressed-up night out. The service was excellent—my waiter was attentive, knowledgeable, and kept my sparkling water refilled throughout the night.
For food, I had the lamb chops, Brussels sprouts, crab cake, and a cocktail. The lamb chops were the standout—absolutely amazing. The Brussels sprouts were surprisingly good, and the sides are generous enough to share. The crab cake was good but on the smaller side. Drinks and sides are fairly priced for an upscale spot, but overall this is an expensive dining experience—expect around $200+ per person. My total came to about $230 with tax and gratuity.
I also got to see their $1,000 steak presentation, which was really entertaining and added to the high-energy vibe of the restaurant.
The only downside was seating—I was placed toward the back as a solo diner, which wasn’t ideal—but overall I still enjoyed my birthday dinner. Great place for a special occasion if you’re ready to spend and want a fun, upscale experience.
The atmosphere was great, a little loud at the times but great. The music made my experience a whole vibe in there. The service was top notch! These are the items I had Drinks: Gatsby , Champagne Martini. Food: American Snake River Farms Filet mignon, Colorado Lamb Chops, Brussel Sprouts, Truffle Corn, and Creme Brulee for dessert. Everything was made perfectly, came out hot, fresh and absolutely delicious! Highly Recommend.

Drew, one of many host at Papi Steak, made our experience exceptional from the moment we walked in. He was warm, professional, and incredibly attentive, making us feel genuinely welcome. His friendly attitude, attention to detail, and ability to keep everything running smoothly truly stood out. It's clear he takes pride in providing outstanding hospitality. Drew is fantastic in every aspect of his job and is a big reason why we'll be coming back, AGAIN. Thank you for making our evening so memorable!

I was very disappointed with Papi Steak. This was my first visit. But I was celebrating the 70th birthday of my cousin Celia and her husband Luis. I thought Papi Steak would be a perfect place for them because they met in 1979 during the disco era in a very high energy environment just like Papi Steak. But, it all started with a phone call to the front desk. I explained to the lady who answered the phone that I wanted to make reservations for a party of 11 because we were celebrating a birthday. I asked if they had special pastries for a birthday or if I could bring a birthday cake. She said I could bring a cake from Freeds Bakery. However, she never told me that if I brought a cake from an outside bakery they would not performed a birthday celebration for my cousin and her husband. The day of the reservation, tuesday 1st of September, 2026.We, a party of 9, arrived on time at 6:30pm. At 5:30pm I brought the cake so they could give it to the kitchen staff, as the receptionist had asked me to do. We sat at our table and began to order. We started with two dishes of Wayu Pastrami and 4 orders of pretzel bread. We also order 4 Gatsby mocktails. The entire party did not drink alcohol. The rest just had water. Between the appetizers and main entree it took a while. During that time we experienced 3 celebrations of the $1000 steak presentation whish was loud and entertaining. Our main entry arrived wish consisted of a papi steak, glad kosher tomahawk 32oz steak. New York strips 14 Oz, Filet Mignon 8 Oz and Bonless Rib eye. With Mac & Cheese, creamed spinach, asparagus and papi chopped salad as side dishes. During dinner we had ordered all of the steaks medium and the Filet Mignon medium well, but we noticed that most of the steaks were rare. The steaks were tasty and we were hungry so we didn't want to bother asking them to re-cook the steaks and our papi salad arrived towards the end of our dinner because they forgot it was part of our order. During dinner we experienced a birthday celebration presentation. It was fun and entertaining. So, I was excited because I was expecting the same attention and celebration for our birthday couple. Nothing happened. WmAfter we were done with dinner we waited a while, until our server brought us the dessert menu. He had forgotten that I had brought a birthday cake for the birthday couple! So, when we told him, he went to get it and brought it to the table by himself. He placed it in the center but it was difficult to access for the birthday couple to blow the candles. So he picked it up and brought it closer to the birthday couple and we had to wish them happy birthday and try to sing a birthday song, nothing original, just like if we were at home. Then he took the cake back to the kitchen and said he was going to have it cut in pieces for us. It was a beautiful cake with tulip flowers designedsI requested because my cousin, the birthday girl, loves tulips. They did a horrible job cutting the cake. We would have done a better job at the table. They cut the cake, not across, but in the center of the cake, from top to bottom. They cut the stems from the flowers and we never saw the flowers again because, they cut the cake in little small pieces and served them in plates. It was a disaster. We had to wait a long time for the cake to be served and we had to asked if they served coffee because we were never offered any coffee or anything while we were waiting for the cake to be served. When I brought the cake before dinner, again, I was never informed that there was not going to be any birthday celebration for my birthday couple. Very upsetting and very disappointing. We would have been better off visiting an Italian restaurant were the staff cares for their guest and their family celebrations. The price I paid for the food was excessive for the lack of attentiveness and customer service. 😏🙄😢😭

Every dish we ordered was outstanding. The steak was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of incredible flavor. The side dishes and appetizers were just as impressive, and the desserts were the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. Every plate was beautifully presented, and you can tell they use high-quality ingredients.
The attention to detail, excellent service, and amazing food made this one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. I was genuinely impressed by everything. If you’re in Las Vegas and looking for an unforgettable steakhouse, Papi Steak is a must-visit. I can’t wait to come back!
