We stayed here for our 30th wedding anniversary in May, we had a card in the room from Nathan which was a lovely touch and a congratulations plate with 2 macarons after our meal at The Bistro. We stayed in a lovely seaview room with balcony, the views were great, and it was quiet. We did the 2 night foodie break and ate in the Bistro and Fish Kitchen, both being excellent. Breakfast was also delicious. To top the whole experience off, all the staff were brilliant, friendly, helpful, special thanks to Steph for being so friendly and making her wonderful homemade negroni's. Would love to visit again.
A wonderful guest house in a perfect location. Our room was beautiful, full of character, and had a charming, quaint atmosphere that made it feel very special. Waking up with a view of the sea from our bed — and even while brushing our teeth — was simply fantastic.
The hosts were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was excellent, with delicious breakfasts, a great dinner, and excellent local wine that made our stay even more enjoyable.
The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the area and enjoy everything nearby.

hands down the best meal I've ever had in the UK. came here for lunch on a Tuesday. had a delicious series of fresh local seafood dishes prepared perfectly and delicious! the local lobster was a standout but then again so was the local scallops, and for that matter so is the trout. also the bass was good. and a special award goes to the Cornish sparkling wine which was outstanding.

We had such a lovely stay here. The location is amazing with absolutely stunning views. Everything was spotless, beautifully kept, and the attention to detail throughout was outstanding. It manages to feel smart and stylish without being overly ostentatious, more of a relaxed luxury feel which we really loved.
The staff were all so friendly, attentive and welcoming. The food was incredible too, the roast beef was probably the best we’ve ever had! Breakfast was equally fantastic, especially the granola which was out of this world (and they very kindly gave me the recipe!).
The sea view rooms are breathtaking, but even the smaller rooms at the back are still beautiful and finished to such a high standard. We would absolutely return and highly recommend staying here.

We had the best time in the guesthouse. for a birthday treat we did a package which included the room , breakfast and 7 course tasting menu at the fish kitchen ( which was fantastic) The team at the guesthouse are so friendly and welcoming and only having 9 rooms it feels like a boutique hotel . Room was well laid out and comfortable with classy decor , such a comfy bed . tea & coffee making facilities home baked cookies provided . Enjoyed having a drink in the lounge looking out to sea . A great place to start or finish you’re evening as there is an honesty bar and Stephanie makes her own vermouth if you fancy a negroni ( I had a couple and my face went numb😂 they were first class) Breakfast was delicious with such a great choice of home made granola fresh fruit , Cornish breakfast and off course trout or kegoree. You can eat at the bistro which is highly rated ( we didn’t have enough time but if it’s anything like the restaurant I would just book it) we would definitely go back and maybe take advantage of the winter package . Amazing ! thank you Nathan and all the team . 🐟
