Walked in for on a whim for pita bread (very good) and left with some of the best baklava I’ve ever had. The perfect amount of sweetness, which is rare!
Love Mideast Bakery! Everything is baked fresh daily and the owners are so warm and welcoming. They've recently extended their weekday hours which makes it easier to get there after work. My favorite are the cheese pies, babbaganoush and the za'atar bread. Really everything is quite tasty!

I thought I posted a review already, the food is phenomenal it’s home made, and healthy with vegan and vegetarian options. It’s so much better to come here pickup food and heat / serve it at home then ordering from any restaurant, their bread is baked daily, this place it’s unbelievable and we’re so lucky to have this place in bay ridge. Hands down the best pita bread in Brooklyn. My family is part Lebanese and we have been going to this place for decades. The same family owns it (passed down to the daughter now, I think) and the bread is always fresh and softer than anything I've gotten anywhere in Brooklyn (or anywhere else for that matter). It's like a completely different food, it's so good. They also have delicious homemade hummus and other fun items. But be sure to go early for the bread because they sell out!
