Dinner at Miller & Lux with coworkers was an outstanding experience from start to finish. We started with several appetizers including the Beets & Goat Cheese Salad, Beef Noodle Soup, Wagyu Meatballs with Mezze Rigatoni, and the Poached Shrimp Cocktail with Fresno chili cocktail sauce — every dish was flavorful, fresh, and generously portioned.
For the main courses, we shared the Roasted Duroc Pork Tomahawk, which was incredibly tender and packed with flavor, the French Dover Sole Meunière finished tableside, and the Pan-Seared Hokkaido Scallops with pomme purée, peas, and petite carrots. We also ordered sides of lobster pesto risotto, asparagus, and Yukon Gold purée potatoes, all of which were delicious and perfect for sharing.
To finish the evening, we enjoyed espresso, cappuccino, a huge banana split, and the lemon blueberry tart — the perfect ending to a fantastic meal.
The service was excellent, attentive, and very detailed in explaining each dish. Overall, a great dining experience with amazing food, generous portions, and top-notch hospitality. We’ll definitely be back.
We had dinner here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The service is impeccable. The food was great! Best Cesar salad I have EVER had especially if you like anchovies (optional). They make it at your table! My daughter enjoyed the fluffy butter and bread as well as the heap of black truffle Parmesan fries. We had the NY steak, ribeye, potato puree, truffle mac n cheese, and a choice of sauce on the side for the steaks. The dessert menu was tempting; however we were so stuffed!
Was taken for my birthday. First time for myself and my friend. We were both very pleased and satisfied with our meal. Zero complaints just a couple suggestions. The steak in the wine sauce was delicious, I would suggest just a little less of it on the plate or maybe putting it on the side. It was a little hard to hear all the soft spoken staff but they were ALL so very kind from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out. We thank you all for being so kind and compliments to all of the chefs that had anything to do with fixing our meals.
Wow—everything was top tier! It was my first time dining here, my server Manny and the staff made the experience so welcoming. They were generous with the welcome treats, the service truly wowed me, and the food was divine. It’s everything fine dining should be and more. I’ll definitely be back!
We had a reservation for 8:00PM MAY 16 2026 Saturday under the name Jim. We arrived around 07:55PM. They sat us at the bar downstairs saying our table was not ready. We had some drinks and we got seated at 08:30PM. This is quite unprofessional because most high-end fine dining restaurants usually are on time. But we said okay anyway. We started with some bread called “puff” and some butter. It was the best croissant like bread “puff” we ever had. It was crisp, hot and unimaginably delicious. Then, we ordered seafood tower featuring oysters, lobster and crab(can’t remember specifically). Anyway, seafood tower was good. But it didn’t have proper sauces. There was no horseradish which was understandable, we asked for it 3 times and finally there was a manageress. I had to talk a little harsh to her because asking for horseradish 3 times at a high-end place like this one is extremely unprofessional. We also waited for our 52 oz wagyu tomahawk for 2 almost hours. They brought it at around 10:20pm. But it was delicious and perfectly seasoned. We also had ceasar salad. That was really good. Some people working had language issues. They didn’t know English well so they couldn’t address some of our questions properly, which is odd for high-end restaurant like Miller & Lux. Also, We ordered 2 Bottles of different wines for $395 each. I also called wine guy to explain the wine for the second time, but he didn’t come to our table in around 20-30 minutes. I think this is normal for them to provide this kind of service because if it was just only that day they were making mistakes, they would’ve at least given us some dessert to make up for their poor service as a gesture. But no, they didn’t even try to fix the poor service. Total, we spent $2400($400 gratuity). If anyone is spending that much, i think it is only fair to expect top-notch service. Overall, the food was excellent. Ambiance was good. But, for us, service killed it all, so I am giving them 1 star. Maybe, Tyler Florence should focus on service there instead of trying to open up more spots. I had so high expectations since it was our first time. I am definitely not recommending anyone to go and definitely not coming back myself.
