Popped in to grab a bite on a Saturday night. We were seated right away. Service was great and super attentive. I got a gin based drink (I believe it was called Karl the Fog) which was tasty and aesthetically pleasing. For food we got the lamb ribs, scallops, and sides of roasted potatoes and broccoli. Both my partner and I found the food to be quite salty. Still edible but I think we both would have enjoyed our meals a little more had there been less salt.
The burger is overhyped in my opinion. There’s nothing wrong with it, maybe it’s slightly under seasoned if anything. It’s a very mid burger and too expensive for what it is.
The Crispy Pork Schnitzel was incredibly tender but lacked flavor.
Service was amazing though. The staff were friendly and they proactively cut our burger and our schnitzel in half when we mentioned we were sharing them. That was a nice detail that I appreciated.

We were pleasantly surprised with this establishment from the outside. It doesn't look like much, but when we walked in the atmosphere was live, the service was great. The food was incredible, and yes, we will return when we are in the city of San Francisco. You guys rocked out on atmosphere and food. Everybody loved their plates. Thanks again.

We came in for brunch and everything was so tasty. We tried the heirloom tomato, egg sandwich, infamous burger, scrambled eggs, and polenta — not a single miss on the table.
My boyfriend and I often come here for date nights, and it’s just as good during the day. The food is consistently delicious, and the vibe is cozy and lively.
Pro tip: make a reservation! It gets super busy, especially on weekends. Can’t wait to come back again!

Update: Marlowe burger is still great, and the devil eggs.
We had our wedding dinner at Marlowe 7 years ago. Every once in a while we are able to stop in for a meal. Still love it many years later 😁
