Had an issue with my 2-for-$20 order, but the team handled it exactly how great customer service should be done. Becky took care of everything quickly and professionally, made the situation right with an appropriate discount, and turned a mistake into a genuinely positive experience. You can tell she knows how to run her store and take care of customers.
Also, as someone from Chicago who’s extremely picky about pizza, I have to say — their sausage pizza completely changed my mind about sausage pizza in general. Really impressed overall.
Deep dish is great as always my friend even was able to get a gluten free one, just know that the gluten free one is hard to cut through. The salad was very good and shareable for 2 to 3 people. The old fashioned drinks had way too much ice in them but still good.
Took my 11-year-old in to try Chicago-style pizza for the first time, and I figured there’s no better place to introduce that experience than Lou Malnati’s.
He made it through one slice… and that told me everything I needed to know. Not because he didn’t like it, but because this isn’t your average pizza. This is a commitment. Thick, rich, layered, and unapologetically filling.
The crust had that perfect buttery firmness, the sauce was bold without being overwhelming, and the cheese pull was exactly what you expect when people talk about real Chicago-style. It’s not fast food pizza, it’s sit down and respect what’s in front of you pizza.
Service was solid, atmosphere was relaxed, and the whole experience felt like something different from the usual routine.
If you’ve never had Chicago-style before, just know this: one slice is a full experience. And if an 11-year-old taps out after one, that’s not a negative. That’s proof you’re getting the real thing.
We’re big fans of Chicago-style deep dish, and Lou Malnati’s is easily one of our favorites. We ordered a large butter crust pepperoni deep dish and it was incredible—rich, cheesy, and packed with flavor. We also got the 12 bone-in wings (buffalo style). They were big, juicy, and had a nice kick, though not overly spicy. This location is carry-out only, but even after the drive back to our hotel, everything was still piping hot. The staff was friendly and even helped me navigate the Lou’s app, which was a nice touch. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but totally worth it for the quality. Parking is a little limited with only a few spots designated for Lou’s, but manageable. If you’re craving legit deep dish and solid wings, this spot is a must!
visited with a friend and we enjoyed good food, the staff are nice and they serve quality service, the place was a bit busy when we entered but wait time on the line was very fast, i love the thin crust pizza and crustless pizza i love it!! will definitely be back here if i'm near the area
