Food was delicious! The service was great, food came quickly, vibes are nice and my most favorite part - the portions were
big! I was so full just from one order. I came there with my sister, she had an Irish coffee and I had the Greek breakfast. Overall the bill was around 100 shekels which is pretty standard for Tel Aviv. Would come here again, really enjoyed the food and the place.
I was there on a very hot day. The indoor dining room was full except for one table, which the employees were using as a work table. I asked if my wife and I could sit there if they moved the notebooks and papers, since no one was actually sitting at the table, but they said no and sent us outside to sit in front of a fan in the heat.
As the restaurant filled up, the staff seemed overwhelmed. Service was minimal: they took our order, brought the food, and then we barely saw them again. When I needed the bill, I had to go inside and wait another 10 minutes just to pay.
The food was okay, but not amazing, and the pricing did not match the quality or the service. This was our second time there; the first visit was much more pleasant. Unfortunately, after this experience, I don’t think I’ll be back.
More than anything, I did not get the sense that they actually cared.
Unfortunately twice bad experiences at this place.
On Independence Day I made a reservation through the app Ontopo. It was accepted and two days before they called from the restaurant to tell that they would be closed in the day. So why they didn't block the day?! I needed to rush to look for another open kosher place.
Obviously Ontopo and the restaurant weren't concerned about it...never came with a kind compensation, they simply thought "not my problem".
Then I said ok, let's try again on Sukkot. I made a reservation at 11:30. When we arrived there was no available table?! So why the reservation?! We waited and seated in a table a meter from the entrance where all people asking to find table talk loudly, so we asked to change table. Why they don't make the restaurant reception much before the corridor to low the noise?!
Food...We are not super demanded on it but, was not hot, the boiled egg still had small pieces of shell that I felt in my mouth. We asked for pepper and it just came after the bill with the table empty, and we asked for two ice coffes, one with milk and the other with soy milk but the waitress didn't know which one was the milk and the soy one...so she returned to the kitchen and just brought back after no more food (at the end didn't charged the coffes, but what ever!).
I walk past this place si many times and have never seen it. It's inside this construction and I always thought was part of the synagogue besides it, but no! It's an amazing place for brunch/lunch! The place is very chill, as it's not so close to the street
The place was pretty full as it was Friday. We ordered 2 big toasts (one was a croque madame, the other I can't remember) and they were HUGE, with cheese, eggs and one had salmon. They both come with a drink included in it I really recommend trying this.
We also ordered a salad with tuna that was very good.
All of this was perfect for 4 people as the dishes are big.
The place is located is a great place near the south of Tel Aviv.
There was a line before entering, which took a while, but I guess it is usual on a Friday morning.
The food isn't cheap, bug you are getting large dishes so if is worth the money.
The food itself is tasty, you can probably share some of the dishes and get a desert, that looks good but I was too full to try.
The waiter was nice and responsive and got us everything that we needed in a quick manner.
The place itself was nice, albeit a bit hot, it was a very hot day.
