Lidl

There are signs all over Giardini Naxos for this Lidl but it’s about a 15 minute drive to the store. Store is well stacked for a major shopping spree but certainly not worth the drive for small items.

This Lidl showed me nothing but good things. Especially the act of one of their employees, Pietro. I forgot my wallet in the supermarket and thanks to his kindness and helpfulness I got it back! Excellent service, no complaints. Employee of the year if you ask me!

Probably the best supermarket with a view... of Mt. Etna smoking on the horizon. And the shop of course gave us all the essentials for s weeks Family holiday self catering. Nice fresh breads, meats, seasonal veg. etc.

A typical Lidl. Decent choice of food/items at great prices. I especially enjoyed the laconic chap on the checkout, who when I asked "come stai" - just shrugged and smiled 😁😜
