Key Information
The restaurant at this address is consistently identified by customer reviews as 'Chef Tadka', not 'Laghi's Deli (guest chef)'. It is a local neighborhood eatery in Mayur Vihar Phase III, Delhi, known for its focus on soya chaap and North Indian spices. It offers a small dine-in experience with limited seating and moderate pricing. The owner is noted for being polite and attentive.
Customer perception is mixed. Many highly praise the 'malai chaap' for its softness, creamy texture, and balanced spices, calling it 'irresistible' and a 'must-try'. However, some reviews describe the food quality as 'average' or even 'very bad' for certain dishes like thali. Common themes include good food freshness and taste, but also slow service, limited seating arrangements (only two dining tables), and a lack of dedicated parking, which can be inconvenient for larger groups or during peak hours.
Additional Details
The provided address for 'Laghi's Deli (guest chef)' in Delhi corresponds to a restaurant consistently referred to as 'Chef Tadka' in customer reviews spanning several years. This suggests 'Chef Tadka' is the current and primary establishment at this location. The concept of a 'guest chef' was noted for a 'Laghi's Deli' in Birmingham, UK, but no such information was found for the Delhi location.
Reviews indicate that waiting times can be long during dinner hours and on weekends, suggesting these are peak times. For a potentially quicker experience, visiting during off-peak hours might be advisable.

I’ve been a regular customer of this place for the past 4–5 years, and their malai chaap still tastes just as amazing as the first time I tried it. The softness, the creamy texture, and perfectly balanced spices make it absolutely irresistible. Whether I visit the shop or order from Zomato, the quality has always been consistent. It’s honestly my go-to comfort food spot whenever I crave something delicious. Highly recommended for all chaap lovers!❤️❤️❤️
Sabhi se request h, koi bhi es resturant se kuch na mangaye, mene aj Rs 372/- ki thali order ki, but after one bite i realised khas ek burger he kha leta 50 rs ka usse accha, if you love your hardworking money then pls avoid this one, otherwise your choice all. See attached disposed food picture. Please avoid, and sorry food fekhna nhi chaiye but I can't compromise with my health
If you’re a chaap lover, this place is a must-try! Their malai chaap is hands down one of the best I’ve had—super soft, juicy, and rich in flavor. I’ve been ordering from here both offline and on Zomato for the last 4–5 years, and they’ve never disappointed. The taste, portion size, and consistency are always on point. Perfect place for satisfying your cravings! 🤤🤤❤️❤️❤️
Chef Tadka is a good Restaurant in this market or area..
The food quality is very good or fresh and the taste is also nice, the food serving or making service is a little slow but it's ok not such a big issue.
There are lots of dishes/food items are available in their menu.
The issue i found in this restaurant is about space or seating arrangement, i literally don't like the seating arrangement, There are only two dining tables.. it should be more.
It's not really good for big families.
Overall my experience with the food/quality was good 👍🏼
Chef Tadka located in Mayur Vihar Phase-3 is a small dine-in restaurant that has become known locally for its special focus on soya chaap. The chaap here is offered in a variety of flavorful preparations including both dry and gravy-based options and is a favorite among regular visitors who enjoy rich North Indian spices and tandoori-style dishes. Apart from chaap, they also serve momos which are a popular snack choice especially in the evening hours and among college students and youngsters in the area. The taste of the food overall is average and the quality is fine for regular meals but not something that stands out as extraordinary. The restaurant does provide indoor seating which is a plus and the place is kept reasonably clean and maintained. The owner is polite and attentive and tries to accommodate customer requests even during rush hours. However, one downside is the waiting time which can get a bit long during dinner time or weekends. Service could be improved to manage orders more efficiently. Another issue is the lack of dedicated parking as customers generally have to park along the main road which can be crowded and unorganized. The pricing is moderate and suitable for everyday dining. Chef Tadka works well if you're in the mood for chaap-based dishes and looking for a quick local eat-out spot with basic comfort and friendly staff. It’s a decent neighborhood option though it has scope to improve in terms of speed and overall dining experience.
