We had such a beautiful experience at La Gritta for our anniversary dinner. The service was absolutely exceptional, especially from Namcha and Som, who made the night feel incredibly special.
When they found out it was our anniversary, they surprised us with a complimentary dessert, and after learning we’re expecting a baby, they gifted us a gorgeous little toy elephant - such a thoughtful and memorable touch that we truly appreciated.
The food was outstanding. Everything on the menu sounded amazing and it was genuinely hard to decide what to order because it all looked so good! Every dish we chose was delicious.
The views are also absolutely stunning - easily the best we’ve seen in Phuket so far. Between the food, service and atmosphere, this was one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend!
My husband made a reservation for our wedding anniversary dinner almost two weeks in advance. He chose this restaurant based on the many positive reviews, expecting a special and memorable evening for us.
Unfortunately, our experience did not meet those expectations. From the moment we arrived, it felt as though our reservation was not anticipated. The table that had been reserved for us was not presented, and instead, we were simply asked to choose where we would like to sit.
Food-wise:
* Insalata Caprese – 10/10 (excellent)
* Gargandole Pizza – 6/10
* Four Cheese Gnocchi – 8/10
The staff were polite and friendly; however, there was no acknowledgment of our special occasion. At the end of the evening, we were served a complimentary tiramisu—not for our anniversary, but for the hotel’s anniversary. I am currently pregnant, and my husband had clearly mentioned this in advance via email, that I cannot consume certain foods. As a result, we had to decline it. The staff offered vanilla ice cream as an alternative, which we appreciated, but unfortunately, the taste was disappointing, and we chose not to eat it.
Overall, the experience lacked attention to detail and a sense of genuine hospitality. As someone working in the hospitality industry myself, I found this particularly disappointing. It did not reflect the level of service we expected from a restaurant with such strong reviews.

We really wanted a beautiful dinner for our last night in Phuket. We found this place online and we thought it looked really nice, but we were truly blown away. The service was outstanding, they were so nice. We wanted to watch the sunset, but when we first arrived, it was a little too hot, so they let us sit in the shade and then move when the temperature was better. The food was amazing, we got the Barada salad and the truffle pasta, and it was really delicious. Highly recommend if you want a beautiful stunning experience. Thank you for making our last night in Phuket so beautiful.

We really enjoyed the late lunch experience in La gritts italian restaurant.
We made the reservation through a call from google location information, and the manager I think his name is Alfredo, but not sure, was very kind to confirm a table reservation with the sea view.
We had a wonderful time enjoying the sunset view and delicious food.
We ordered a rosemary potato, green salad, mushroom soup, sea food risotto, fresh juices mango and pineapple.
Best were the potato and risotto, salad and mushrooms were also good but basics in any restaurant.
At the end, they provided us a complementary sweet, a very delicious tiramisu.
Thank you to all the polite staff in the restaurant for an excellent service.
Special thanks to the manager, Som and Jiji, for such wonderful time spent in the restaurant.
