Good Old Town vibe. Nice area. Good coffee and service. The brick walls are definitely preferable to the sterile look and feel of a lot of other cafes. This place has personality and I have taken people here before who also enjoyed it.
If I had to point out something unpleasant, it would only be one thing. Depending on the time it can get crowded and a bit loud. Not really something you want in the mornings. However, this is perfectly understandable given the nice area it's in (comes with the territory). I would recommend getting coffee to go and walking around Old Town Clovis.
I recently visited this coffee shop and I was happy I did. They had a greta atmosphere, very tasty drinks, and my sandwich was delicious. The covered patio was dog friendly and the vibe was cool both inside and outside. I’d recommend checking this place out if you like good quality food and place to hangout.
Kuppa Joy’s drink carriers are the automotive equivalent of putting bicycle tires on a dump truck.
I’ve now had these things fail more than once. One spill in my car. Another spill in my own driveway. Same result: coffee everywhere, ice everywhere, money wasted, and me standing there wondering how a business that sells coffee managed to screw up the part where you’re supposed to transport the coffee.
Whatever bargain bin, paper thin, structurally bankrupt excuse for a drink carrier they’re using has apparently been engineered to fail under the extreme burden of… carrying coffee.
Great coffee doesn’t mean much when half of it ends up decorating your vehicle and driveway.
Spend a few extra cents and buy carriers that actually work. Your customers shouldn’t need engineering degrees and two hands on standby every time they leave the parking lot.
I called ahead to ask about ordering bottles of coffee which we were donating and could not be on ice. I was told that it would be no problem and that I could order them in person as long as it was less than 20 bottles. I confirmed that they had the bottles available, and made sure that there wouldn’t be any issue with ordering once I got there. I was reassured by the young lady at the register wearing glasses that there would be no issue. I arrived 25 minutes later and am told that they were not able to accommodate b/c they did not have the bottles. The reason I had called ahead was because I have three young children )one of them being a baby) and it was 100° outside. I was also coming from quite a distance. It was incredibly frustrating to arrive and be told that they were not able to accommodate. A young man behind the register offered to provide the order, but in cups, which I was grateful for. Then the same young lady at the register with the black framed glasses said that I would have to pay a full price for the cups, which would make the order $20 more than what it was going to originally be with the bottles. At this point I was just frustrated and felt that the customer service was severely lacking, and left. I understand that they could not make the bottles appear out of thin air, but offering to price match after they had made a mistake felt appropriate.
i love grabbing coffee and having a little study session at kuppa joy! employees are super friendly, the atmosphere is great, and a good spot for a little bit of everything. the drinks and pastries are super good, im a big fan of the golden joy and the lavender lemonade. haven't tried the food items but im sure they're great. sometimes it's hard to get a seating inside the cafe during busy times, but overall a great place to hang out :D
