Customer Perception
Customers generally praise the charming Mary Poppins theme and the quality of sweet treats and specialty drinks. Its always a Jolly Holiday with Mary and the people that you love. Jolly Holiday is a Mary Poppins themed eatery with an old turn of the century English feel to the restaurant with extra lights and activity as it faces the Disneyland hub with views of the castle.
For a sit down Dining experience it’s hard to beat!
The food at Jolly Holiday is really amazing - we loved the turkey on ciabatta and the cheesy beef toasted cheese! Other great option especially the sweet treats and the yummy drinks. The tomato soup is a hidden gem. The sandwich was delicious with a lot of beef in it and had a consome to dip in. I go for a cold brew. The creamy top made for an enjoyable drink.
Don’t forget to get the raspberry Mickey macaron!
Great cast member service at the pick up area and they keep the dining areas clean and orderly. Love Disney cast members for their attitude and helpfulness.
Nice to have a few ducks around!
The food here at Jolly Holiday for me is overrated by social media I fluencer.
Like today I got the bacon egg cheese croissant and the cinnamon roll.
The croissant eggs were very under cooked, see my pics. First bite no eggs... 2nd bite yuck. Under cooked liquid eggs.
The cinnamon roll. Looks old and stale. However once I cut into it ... soft gooey and full of cinnamon flavor. The ice does over power the taste inside. So I just scraped some off and much better.
Ahhhhh SO GOOD. Made two stops during our 3 day visit. We enjoyed lunch on the first day; toasted cheese with house made chips. Loved the chips and toasted cheese didn't skimp on the cheese. Crust was pretty hard though. And my husband got the Beef Birria Toasted Cheese. He said it was as delicious and amazing as every says it is. 2nd trip in I got the Toffee Nut Cold Brew with vanilla foam and the macaroon...to die for! Sooo good.
One of the best raspberry macarons I’ve ever had. At Christmas, be sure to get in line for the Mickey gingerbread cookie, they are limited to 5 per person. Christmas also brings sticky toffee cake and it is divine! Great place for a breakfast sandwich or soup as well!
The Baseline: For a sit down Dining experience establishment the food flavors must represent the theme of the environment, there must be unique offerings to the restaurant based on the theme, and the experience must be immersive to the theme park experience.
Food: The food at Jolly Holiday is really about the sweet treats and the caffeinated drinks. There is an exception to that rule though and that is the grilled cheese and tomato soup which are hidden gems of joy. The night I went I got the Beef Birria Toasted Cheese with a side of Tomato Soup with the Specialty Tea. The sandwich was delicious with a lot of beef in it and had a consome to dip in. The tomato soup was creamy and a bit sweet but very enjoyable. The Specialty Tea is a new favorite if I am not going for a cold brew. The creamy top mixed well in the tea and made for an enjoyable drink.
Service: Great cast member service at the pick up area and they keep the dining areas clean and orderly. Love Disney cast members for their attitude and helpfulness.
