If you have enough money to pay for a high quality luxury hotel - please DONT BOOK the Jaffa!!!
The hotel is very beautiful, but the operation is so poor that it feels like no one here cares or experienced. The employees have all good will - but they are far from being trained and it shows in every aspect of the hotels operation.
Cleanliness and maintenance is not poor in the public areas. Service at the breakfast room is mainly by fresh new employees that try to take your dishes before you are finished eating. No one comes to ask if you want coffee or omelette…
Because under staffed hotel cannot provide good service!!!
Reception is doing their best, but confuse and mix up rooms. They also don’t pick up the phone when trying to get hold of them, 15 minutes long…
Shower has no pressure, the water is permanently changing between cold and hot. Is that something one can accept in that level of venue?
There’s not much place to store your clothes, so if you come for a week… you’ll have to be creative.
Bottom line - keep away if you like to have value for your money.
We had such a wonderful experience here! I came with a group of friends, and from the moment we arrived, everything felt special.
The food was absolutely delicious, every dish we tried was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The service was exceptional as well: warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole evening even more enjoyable.
The atmosphere deserves a special mention. The place is incredibly beautiful, peaceful, and full of greenery, it feels like a little hidden oasis of nature and calm right in the heart of Jaffa. It’s the kind of place where you immediately slow down, relax, and simply enjoy being there.
Everything came together perfectly: amazing food, wonderful service, beautiful surroundings, and such a lovely atmosphere. We had the best time and left very happy. Definitely a place I would love to come back to and would highly recommend! ❤️

We had an amazing stay at the Jaffa in Tel Aviv. The hotel is gorgeous and renovated, and the staff was incredibly generous and gracious and went above and beyond to spoil us. Golda restaurant just opened and they still need to perfect some of their recipes (a little too salty). We're really happy we went, thanks especially to Shaked for the fantastic cocktail workshop and to Ruth for the amazing tour of the building's chapel!

I usually don’t write reviews, but after the experience we had this weekend, I felt I had to share it honestly.
The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, but unfortunately the overall experience was very disappointing and nowhere near worth the price we paid.
First of all, there is no parking at the hotel and no assistance with luggage. Since the hotel is located on a steep downhill street, if you continue further to find parking, you then have to drag all your bags back uphill. For couples with a lot of luggage, families, or anyone arriving with children, this is extremely inconvenient and exhausting.
The reception staff were unfriendly to the point of seeming annoyed by the guests. It really felt like they had no patience or energy for customer service, which immediately creates a bad atmosphere when arriving for a vacation.
Our first room was unacceptable. The mattress was completely worn out and you could strongly feel the springs. The shower also clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly because there were opened and used shampoos and soaps left behind when we arrived.
We came for a romantic couples vacation and were given a connecting room next to a family with children and a crying baby. The screaming felt like it was happening inside our own room.
To the hotel’s credit, when we complained they immediately changed our room. The new room was clean, the mattress was much better, and they also sent us a complimentary bottle of champagne. The coffee machine and capsules in the room were a nice touch as well.
The pool atmosphere was extremely crowded and noisy. This is not an adults-only hotel, so there is very little peace, privacy, or relaxation around the pool area. The staff member who was supposed to welcome us at the pool was busy texting on his phone when we arrived and didn’t even bother to look up at us. We spent around 15 minutes searching for somewhere to sit because nobody clears or organizes the chairs, and there was barely any service unless you are considered “VIP.”
Another frustrating thing: if you are seated in the second row of pool chairs, the first row completely blocks access to the water, so getting into the pool becomes awkward and uncomfortable.
Breakfast was actually very good and generous, but again the service was weak. We received several things incorrectly, and we overheard other guests complaining about the service as well.
Overall, the hotel is stunning visually, but the value for money is simply not there. For these prices, there are many other places where you can have a completely different level of experience and service.
We were so disappointed that we actually left one night earlier than planned because we just weren’t enjoying ourselves anymore.

Beautiful rooms. Service is amazing and the breakfast was fantastic! The gym was at a high level. There is a charm of old and new coming together. We had a tour explaining the history of the place. It all was an incredible experience.
