Nice restaurant. Good food. Service was a bit slow. Didn’t get any bread or our orders taken for well over half an hour. The quiche was burnt so send it back. Duck salad was very good as were was the chicken and prawn cocktails. Soft serve ice cream a fun idea.

We had a lovely lunch at The Retreat. We opted for the “Trust The Chef” menu and were thoroughly impressed in both the quality and value. The portions were generous and the food was exceptional. The wine recommendations were spot on and very reasonably priced. The warm and inviting decor and fantastic staff made for a wonderful atmosphere. With such great quality and value, we highly recommend The Retreat without hesitation.
