Hoppers London

We visited on a gorgeous summer evening and sat outside with a group of friends, a few cold drinks in hand, and the whole thing felt effortlessly perfect. What really made it special was that our dog was welcome to join us at the outdoor tables — such a thoughtful touch that’s still rare to find. It made for a completely relaxed, social evening with the whole crew (four-legged members included!). Now, the food. Wow. The menu is a beautifully curated tour of Sri Lankan cuisine — perfectly sized to give you real choice without being overwhelming, and every dish delivers on flavour. The spice levels are wonderfully balanced, the textures are exciting, and it’s clear that everything is made with real care and quality ingredients. Don’t miss the Hoppers Experience — incredible value and a fantastic way to sample a little bit of everything. Authentic, vibrant, dog-friendly, and utterly delicious. One of London’s best.

My first visit to Hoppers King's Cross and it definitely lived up to the hype. The Lamb kothu roti was packed with flavour, and the Bone marrow varuval was rich and indulgent. The hoppers/egg hoppers were crisp and delicious. The Sweet potato dhal was wonderfully comforting, while the Prawn + raw mango kari was the standout with its perfect balance of tangy and spicy flavours. Can't wait to come back !

One of my absolute favorite for sri lankan cuisine in London! Hoppers has incredibly authentic food from the kothu paratha to the mutton rolls, to the mutton varuval. Get the bone marrow varrural for sure. Sublime! I would fly 8 hrs just to eat this. Also got the egg hoppers. Light fluffy and great for mopping up any gravy. The service was very helpful in navigating the menu and recommending what to order .

My friends and I stopped for drinks here, early evening. The atmosphere was perfect and the whole experience felt very authentic! We had uniquely crafted cocktails which were delicious, and led us into an educational conversation with one of the bar tenders, Shoi. He was so knowledgable and friendly, we would definitely recommend coming here to enjoy wonderful Sri Lankan food and drink, as well as brilliant service!

Worth trying but not sure if I’ll come back. The service is good, food was fine but the point is the portion. 32 pounds just for a small dish of lamb chop (3chops), a bit overpriced. Lassi is good. Fired broccoli is very heavy flavored and the steamed bream has a lot of small bones which is a bit risky to eat. Also, the environment is too noisy, to a degree that we feels dizzy:(
