Everyone needs/ should know how great the staff is here 1st off. I can live in a cardboard box so long as my neighbors are nice, and everyone here is that and more!! Ms. April, Danelle, and Cheyene were the ones who all took time, for separate occasions, to help either my other half, another guest, and myself with diffent situations. Each encounter was greeted with support, willingness to understand, and some of them could banter with the best of us!! I love seeing kindness and this company has hired the best assets with ppl like the staff here! This is also goes to the restaurant and bar staff too! Now, room review. It's an older building and the accommodations that they provide, they are probably the best they can be without taking away from the original, and historic, pov and vibe, while still making it more updated and user friendly. The a/c was probably the most annoying part of our stay. It was a bit loud, for us however, if could be fine for others, just know, ear plugs were provided :) Tip: check the fridge before use. Make sure it isn't at the highest setting, it will freeze all that you put in it. Best part though had to be using the old elevator! Didn't use it all the time, but totally worth checking out! I Stayed here on the weekend of the bluegrass festival. It was a bit pricey, but you can't beat the location if you're doing something downtown. The building is old, but well maintained. The rooms were clean and comfortable, if a bit cramped, which is to be expected in a historic building. My only gripe was that the elevator was out, so hiking up to the third floor got old after the 3rd or 4th time. There's a beautiful lobby with a piano player. My only suggestion would be to maybe do a continental breakfast in the lobby.

First time in Prescott & very happy we chose to stay at the Hotel St. Michael. Lovely historic location in the center of Whiskey Row fun and across the street from the county courthouse plaza all beautifully lit up for Christmas time. Our room overlooked the plaza lights which was great.
The hotel staff are very welcoming, the rooms are nicely appointed, albeit the bathroom a little snug but cute, and the Bistro on site restaurant serves up tastey food and drinks.
We stayed 2 nights and didn’t end up using the ear plugs provided but if someone was super noise sensitive they have you covered.
Such a charming hotel with little shops tucked alongside the bistro on the 1st floor of the hotel. There’s also a large open lounge with another bar and plenty of seating on the 1st floor of the hotel with a speakeasy styled bar underground (apparently it was a true speakeasy back in the day) with live music.
This hotel was a good anchored location for walking to so many things. We went to the Sharlot Hall Museum, grabbed a beer at Founding Fathers, then some appetizers at Farm Provisions, walked past the love locks fence, picked up olive oil, balsamic vinegar & flavored honey at Olive U, enjoyed gelato from Pralines of Prescott while walking around the plaza, popped into several bars on the row, tried the new Doc’s BBQ & Whiskey spot, had artistically amazing drinks at the other speakeasy The Point Bar & Lounge, & many other little shops all within walking distance.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and are sure to choose this hotel when back to visit.

As an AZ native, I need to explore more of this state because I forget how many cute cities we have here! I am so glad I picked this hotel, because everything about our stay was perfect! I love an old hotel with charm, and the location is quite ideal; you are in the heart of downtown! Everything is accessible on foot, and there is a parking garage down the road (for free, I might add), so it was amazing not to have to pay for parking!
I want to give a shoutout to Amy! She is such a hoot and incredibly friendly! She truly made our stay, and gave us such fun bar recommendations! The hotel has a bar in the lobby and a fun speakeasy downstairs called Fire & Sword! You must check both of them out as each spot serves delicious cocktails! We were hurting the next day, but it was leftover evidence from all the fun we had the night before! Do yourself a favor, and book a stay at this hotel; you won't regret it! 🥃⋆˚꩜｡
