Planned as a treat for my sister and I ended up also going. Stunning lunchtime tasting, a very warm welcome and outstanding service. The food was so beautiful- both in presentation and taste. A wonderful setting and finished with a wander around the walled garden.
We agreed we will save up and go once each season to test out the changing menus.
Highly recommended.
We had the pleasure of enjoying an exceptional fine dining lunch in truly beautiful surroundings, where every detail was thoughtfully considered. The setting was elegant yet relaxing, creating the perfect atmosphere to savour an unforgettable meal.
It was amazing to see a varied vegetarian menu, which is rare as restaurants normally settle for same-ish potato based meals. The seven course tasting lunch menu showcased outstanding ethically sourced ingredients. We sat at the chef table so could enjoy watching our food being meticulously prepared. Every course celebrated quality, seasonality, and sustainability without ever compromising on flavour. It was evident that great care had gone into both the sourcing and presentation of every dish. No imported ingredients are used so for example ginger is replaced with pickled rose petals.
What elevated the experience even further was the pairing selection. The alcoholic wine pairing was expertly curated, but the non-alcoholic wine pairing was equally impressive. It’s refreshing to see such genuine attention given to guests who choose not to drink alcohol.
The service was warm, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and genuine hospitality.
This was more than just a meal—it was a memorable culinary experience that beautifully combined exceptional food, ethical values, impeccable pairings, and a stunning setting.

Our third visit in 12 months
We dine in plenty of Michelin star restaurants. Grace and Savour is always special. No idea why its just one star. Its overdue an increase. Incredible walled kitchen garden here as well. And the calmest, but most efficient team of chefs you will ever see.
They offer cookery lessons, workshops, chef collabs and stunning overnight accommodation as well.
Grace and Savour has to be one of the best destinations for foodie lovers in the UK.

We’ve just got home from a night away here, celebrating my 30th birthday.
From the second we arrived, we felt at ease. We are probably not your ‘typical’ customers at Michelin Star establishments, but at no point did we feel judged or out of place. Every single member of staff were polite and couldn’t do enough for us. A special shout out to the lady who did the majority of our wine pairing throughout the evening! (Sorry we didn’t get your name)
The culinary experience that we had was second to none, neither of us have ever experienced food like that before and we were completely blown away. The menu that David has created is spectacular.
My partner is also Coeliac, she was over the moon with the alterations made to her courses and she didn’t feel as though she missed out on anything.
The talk from David at the beginning, where he talked us through the garden, what he and his team are trying to achieve and talked us through some of his produce was a really nice touch. To then watch these ingredients come to life in the food during the evening was interesting and educational.
If you are thinking of booking an experience here, then I highly recommend it. Do not fall into the trap of thinking that Michelin Stars mean snooty and too good for mere mortals, as this definitely isn’t the case here!
Thank you all so much, I’m sure we will be back 😁

This was a real treat! I’d booked the mid week dine and stay experience for my husband’s 50th birthday and it was just wonderful. My husband rarely takes photos, but on this occasion, I saw him happily snapping away.
Anette was warm, friendly and welcoming and David spoke passionately during the garden tour about produce and the ethos behind Grace snd Savour.
The wine tasting in the afternoon was a lovely added bonus. Always nice to try new wines!
Our room was natural, rustic and calming. We had a relaxing night’s sleep.
Now for the food! 13 courses of delightful flavoursome dishes that were presented imaginatively and spoken about lovingly. It was brilliant to see the team all busily working away to prepare them. We added on the wine pairing (1 was the non alcoholic option) and this complimented the dishes really well.
Another special touch was the picnic hamper breakfast delivered to your suite. A really nice idea.
So overall I’d say a 10/10 unique experience. We’ve eaten taster menus before but having stayed and experienced the full story behind it, made it a more unique and immersive experience.
